You're preaching to the choir. I'd rather see them start Kizer but I'm looking at it from how Hue probably is.Commander of Awesome;1868144 wrote:You just described Kessler. Say what you want about Kizer not being ready, but he's the best QB we got on the roster ATM. So him not being ready also shows that neither is BO or Kessler.
Best move for the franchise is to start Kizer, see if they have something or, next.... TBH, may sound like a shitty fan but I'd rather see them go 1-15 with Kizer, knowing they need a new QB in the next draft, versus starting BO, maybe going 4-12 and knowing they have nothing.

I disagree with you there, my premise is that even from a this season stand point, Kizer is the better option than BO or Kessler.BR1986FB;1868154 wrote:You're preaching to the choir. I'd rather see them start Kizer but I'm looking at it from how Hue probably is.

Hope Hue sees it like you do but, in more cases than not, these HC's are looking to save their asses and get a few wins so they go with what they'd consider a proven commodity, even though BO isn't. Kessler isn't even in the equation, imo.Commander of Awesome;1868156 wrote:I disagree with you there, my premise is that even from a this season stand point, Kizer is the better option than BO or Kessler.

I like the comments he had on that last night. Basically said he wanted to show his teammates that if needed to get the extra yard, he's willing to do it and that from now on he will slide. He might not be ready just yet but damn does he have a good head on his shoulderskizer permanente;1868151 wrote:No disagreement there. Kid needs to learn to slide and they need to quit calling read option plays in the NFL. Although I will say it's not surprising to see a rookie not slide when he's trying to win the starting job.
