The tribe head to the 2nd place twins. Currently up 5 games in the division a nice series win would go a long way. Let's go Tribe!!

This is a pretty big series. Could bury the Twins. Disappointed they can't manufacture some runs so far on some great chances. Just not concentrating enough on some ABs.

But if you hit bombs like Los just did...who cares about execution!!

Carlos Santana with a monstrous HR and we are tied 1-1.

Man, Buxton is great in CF. Best I've seen since Andruw Jones/Torii Hunter

Do we teleport to '95? 6 runs, all via the HR. 3 solo jacks and a 3-run bomb.

If we can take this pitching staff with us, I am all for it.

Since he has come off the DL, he has the highest swing and miss percentage of any pitcher with at least 300 pitches thrown. 2nd is...Kluber. I wish it was October now. I'm very confident the way the staff is rolling. But who knows how we will feel in a month and a half!

So far, the front office is looking like geniuses, or they just got damn lucky, rolling the dice on Salazar bouncing back and not making a deal at the deadline.

Local sports talk has been having the debate "going into the playoffs, who is your third guy, Salazar or Bauer?" as both have been pretty solid. Up until last night, everyone was saying Bauer but they flip flopped this morning.

If they keep pitching like this and can keep the offense going, they have a pretty good shot of returning to the WS.

Salazar has always had better stuff than Bauer...even now. If he stays locked in and consistent until the playoffs I would easily choose him ...no matter how well Bauer pitches. If Salazar gets the yips again and can't control his stuff, that's when I would have to choose Bauer. I think this will play out. there's still some 6 weeks of baseball left before that needs to be decided. Lots of things can happen...and probably will.

The thing with Bauer is that he seems to give up a lot of base runners and has to work out of jams. That's kind of scary come playoff time. Little margin for error.
