3-3 Tribe bottom of 4...Bauer gives up three solo shots...Kipnis still struggling mightily at the plate

Another. He is swinging well with Bruce behind him. Good sign.iclfan2;1866675 wrote:EE just destroyed that baseball. 5-3 now.

Agreed--with Miller's addition last year, along with Bruce's this season, the front office has really done it's job...now, if only they could find a way to trade Matt Underwood...Laley23;1866682 wrote:Another. He is swinging well with Bruce behind him. Good sign.

I like his voice better than Jim Rosenhaus.vball10set;1866684 wrote:Agreed--with Miller's addition last year, along with Bruce's this season, the front office has really done it's job...now, if only they could find a way to trade Matt Underwood...

Agreed. Rosie's home run calls are the worst.Verbal Kint;1866685 wrote:I like his voice better than Jim Rosenhaus.

can't be any worse than Matty's 'near' home run calls, of which we hear at least a dozen times per game-loliclfan2;1866691 wrote:Agreed. Rosie's home run calls are the worst.

Whenever I'm watching the Indians with friends, I feel compelled to point that shit out. Dude has a fucking orgasm over routine fly balls and I'm thinking, "Dude, just because a ball got hit in the air doesn't mean it's a home run..."vball10set;1866702 wrote:can't be any worse than Matty's 'near' home run calls, of which we hear at least a dozen times per game-lol

I went to college with Underwood (not a fan of his calls) but you couldn't beat old school Herb Score for these type calls......"it's a LONG drive, deep to left, back, back, back........Heretic;1866754 wrote:Whenever I'm watching the Indians with friends, I feel compelled to point that shit out. and the shortstop hauls it in at the edge of the infield grass."

Score actually screwed one up as bad as I said. Thought it was gone and it ended up being an out in the shallow outfield.BRF;1866792 wrote:Here's what I remember hearing many times:

Do you remember this old Herb quote?
"look out for the base, Max"

Herb was classic. My parents and i went to a DH in 1981 against the Tigers. My Dad and I were getting hot dogs and Dad says "I don't see Mom,I said she's over talking to Herb Score", we walk over and he shakes our hands and signs my program. He offers to buy my Dad a beer and Dad says it's a double header Herb you will need it more than me. Herb says you are right ,laughs and walks away. Totally awesome!!
