And Hammy says: "The Indians have a massive advantage with the bullpen......however, that's all on paper.... the game is played on the field."

Zim swings through a batting practice fastball and he knows it--need Shaw to shut em down in the bottom of the 9th

Soon as I heard "Shaw will face the White Sox in the bottom of the 9th" I knew this one was over. Tough stretch ahead. Hope they stay hot.

Also sounds like the Tribe is in the mix for Yu Darvish.

Tribe dodged a bullet when Lucroy vetoed that trade last year. Yesterday he was dealt to the Rockies for the infamous PTBNL.

Cleveland is on his list of teams he no-trade. It is basically LAD, HOU, NYY that are contenders.

He may waive for a chance at WS.

That said, this is first I've heard we are a player for him...and it doesn't make much sense. Doubt that has legs.

Not dohbting the rumor. Doubting that it has legs to get done. Doesn't make sense for Tribe, so why give up a top prospect? I'd guess we have called about him, but Texas will end up wanting too much. I don't think the talks ever get serious.

If they do, I hope Yu has an insane 3 month stretch. Because that's the only way I won't be angry.

Not interested in Darvish for top prospects. I think we could use a guy in the pen. Apparently Boston got Reed from the Mets, and the Yankees will probably get Gray.

Not interested in giving up top prospects for 3 months. I could see Sonny Gray who has a contract thru 2019.

I think if a deal is made it'll be for a reliever....Shaw is not dependable anymore....need one more guy out there.

Solid season, but can't be holding onto him when he won't be in the plans until the next "cycle" for Tribe. Their window is 5ish years (counting last and this), if lucky.

He isnt Mejia or McKenzie...so happy about that.
