Honestly though, 4 figures is a lot to put on any game. Sure you might win this one, but over time you will lose money, and you will lose big, and you can take that to the bank.

i have only had one losing season in six years.

and i am fairly confident bama will win handedly.

with that said, the bet will not be four figures, it will be for $770 or (7 units)

Don't underestimate that Texas defense. Anytime you have a defense like that you are always in a game. Since when did Alabama prove they can score consistently on offense?

I'm predicting a 27-17 victory as the Tide Roll.

I would take the Tide at -4.

Pretty sure it opened at 6.5, so a lot of action must have been played on Texas.

I think the Tide covers the 4. They will have to play poorly, which is possible to lose this game.

I was a LOCK to win my college bowl pool, but after losing 5 straight, I cannot finish first. However, an Alabama win tonight earns me second place. Based on my "luck," I would bet the house on Texas.

I think Texas wins it.

I think they're able to control heisman man and McCoy comes up big.

I will give my reasoning though I disagree with NO CHANCE. Of course they have a chance it is just a small chance.

They scored low points against Nebraska and Oklahoma while good defenses they are not Alabamas' defense.

So I do not see Texas scoring many points unless Alabama just collapses.

On offense Alabama is vastly superior to Nebraska or Oklahoma and I mean vastly.

If Alabama plays like they did against Florida they will blow Texas out no matter what Texas does. Alabama will punish them if they play like they did against Florida.

On the other hand Alabama could have their heads in the clouds and Texas comes out and stuns them.

Colt McCoy will throw for 300+ yards against Bama. The Bama defense is stout, but they do give up the BIG plays.

the spread is now up to -4.5 or -5 depending on where you look.

63% of the money is on bama

Gilbert just had the worst 1st half I've ever seen from a quarterback.

24-21....Bama is laying down....young QB is getting used to the Alabama speed and for some reason they aren't triple teaming Jordan Shipley.

As for Bama....INgram has been out with a calf cramp for most of the 2nd half.

Regardless of how this game ends......Mack Brown's coaching call at the end of teh 1st half was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen.

Only down 17-6...run the clock out and get the ball first in the 2nd half and at the time....he didn't know if McCoy was coming back or not.......IDIOTIC

And I think Gilbert has done enough, mixed with Alabama laying down and Ingram missing 4 possessions in the 2nd half........no excuses right now.
