It was just easier to tell them in a post how stupid, retarded, gay, (or any other choice of words) that they are. So hitting the rep button seemed overkill after awhile. When it first was implemented everyone was giving negs. One guy had 3 red blocks by his name in less than a week. He was proud of it.

I am not sure what the hell uncle ted is talking about, but RCF has a "rep" system and most of the butt hurt comes from the negative reps obviously. The butt hurt typically stems from the fact that people hit the "disagree" button, without providing an explanation. Maybe implement a feature where if you neg, you have to provide your reasoning?

That's a decent suggestion, though nothing would really stop someone from commenting with "oweihfjiuwhef" (or some other gibberish) just to get the form to submit. I might implement throttling on negs, where you can only neg X posts per day. Or you can only neg a specific person X times per day.

At some point I'm going to have the new site up in a sandbox environment that will be blown up after testing for a while, to get feedback from folks.

Well now that you gave the fucking idea, everyone will use it!

I was more thinking if you neg, you have to write a reply post. If someone is just posting "ewrehsdfkjhsdfkjh" then it will be pretty easy for a mod to delete the post and thus deleting the rep. I am not even sure if it's possible to make that happen, but just a suggestion.

I have them opened up a bit to help air out the basement. Last renters....not good at all.

I did what I could. My power washer can't fix windows.

I've been doing more research, note for lesson plans, recording tapes, (Apple keep in touch,) and writting notes for my book (I have a ghostwriter) I'm doing this for my nonprofit organization I'm about to start (to be mentioned later) commited, passionate and promise to myself and friends. I beleive in what I have commited myself to do, I believe this will be very huge and successful undertaking....

I'm actually working on this functionality now. Here's a screenshot of how it currently looks. The rep button works, now I'm working on the neg button. The number will display the overall rep left on a post, so it could be positive or negative (or zero).

LJ used to love to neg, just for kicks--especially me! lol

I bought a Troy bilt pressure washer on Craigslist. I use it a lot. Those turbo end pieces are great to clean stone

Yep? Kids got me the same 3500 psi ???? Something like that it has the 4 color tips, they also bought me ( why I have no idea) an secondary tip that increase the psi and spins to remover paint. It can rip in to wood in a heart beat very strong and forceful spay.... I'm going to get a large tree base log and see if I can etch my house number into it, then and a little gun powder and burn it a little deeper and create rustic type looks as a test sample.

Oh because I would go in and tell them only homo's go to or went to Elder. A couple parents got mad and I told them congrats on raising a little ***. I don't even have anything against Elder, it is just because they take it so serious it made it fun to rile them up.
