If he misses 25+ games, they can release him and not pay remaining contract. Doesn't seem like as terrible a deal, given that clause.

Agreed. He's an absolute beast when healthy.

Holy shit!

Shams Charania ✔ @ShamsCharania Sources: Bulls forwards Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic were involved in serious altercation in practice today, leaving Mirotic hospitalized and out indefinitely. Story coming.

God damn. I figured Chicago would implode but I was going to say closer to January.

Sounds like they got into a shoving altercation with Portis cheap-shotting him and breaking a facial bone.

I'd suspend him indefinitely.

Looks like ankle Fracture (fibula) with ankle dislocation. He will be lucky if it's just that and did not involve the tibia; although if he gets a spiral fracture that could be bad prognosis.

Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s career ending.

Do you guys think that is worse than Paul George's? My vote is on George's being worse, and he's recovered fully. Best wishes and best of luck on recovery to Heyward.

I think Livingston and PG's were both worse, but that was still nasty.

Kevin Ware when Louisville played Duke and Allan Ray's were worser.

Kevin Ware's was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen.

+1 on Ware. Not even close, IMO.

1. Ware

2. PG
3. Haywood

That was just different, cause it didn't take time for him to recover really. But the eye being out was nasty for sure.
