Yep, Massillon Football has been chugging along since the 1890's collecting championship after championship along the way....

These are the things that set Massillon apart, these are the things that puts Massillon on a pedestal, these are the things that have led to Massillon being known as "America's Team", as "City of Champions", as "The HS Football Capital of the Universe." Winning 1 out of every 4 State Championships over a 100 year period is, as Nick Saban says "astounding."

I would say that Ignatius would have passed Massillon if it didn't take them so long to realize the benefits the POHSAA allowed them and, when they then put it into action they were already behind.

Moeller also would have passed them had the Archdiocese not put a stop to Moeller recruiting....Only to turn around years later and allow it again.

Moeller was very pedestrian during those times. They experienced what it was like to be a public school.

Anyway, Massillon's record is safe for a while.

real ohio high school football championships began in with the playoffs in 1972. Massillon has not been successful in winning any of these championships.
