WHY?

1. Great Finish to this season
2. He plays for OHIO STATE
3. He has soooo much more confidence now
4. Coaching (just wait til Tress works with him this off season)
5. Probably going to be the best player on the best team going into 2010 season

Obviously Ingram is the frontrunner.

But Pryor is in the discussion. But he was in the discussion leading up to this year as well...

Pryor won't seriously be considered as having a real chance for the heisman until his senior year. But he will have a good year next year, and that will lead up to his senior year as a heisman candidate.

No way.

Shouldn't be worrying about this shit anyways. Just let it happen and fall into place on its own.

Certainly in the discussion, no question about that. The PR he received for the Rose Bowl performance alone set him up to be in the top 5 probably.
BUT, he still has to perform, has to be MUCH more consistant, and continue to show that the Rose Bowl wasn't a one game thing.

Pryor is in the discussion but he isn't a front runner.

Alabama is no lock as the best team next year with McElroy at QB. Yeah, he played good against Florida but if you watched most of Alabama's games, he played mediocre to poor and they easily could have or even should have lost 2-3 games. For this reason alone I give Texas a good shot at them tonight. Alabama's defense is for real and Ingram is a great RB but the QB is less than average and other than Julio Jones the receivers are average. Back to the Pryor question, he should be a top 5-8 candidate, higher if the Buckeyes can beat Miami, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Penn State but I as some of you am not sold yet just on one game but I was encouraged at least to see some improvement. Tressel had an excellent game plan for him in the Rose Bowl and it will be interesting to see how he uses him in the coming season. Going unbeaten will be tough but is a possibility for next season, I think the Bucks are a top 4-5 team going in .

Pryor for Heisman is a joke as of right now. He still cannot throw the ball. He threw one terrific ball when Posey was running a corner/flag, other than that, it was slant and screen after slant and screen. Jim Tressel won that Rose Bowl, not Terrelle Pryor.

He's nowhere near Vince Young as of right now, and he didn't even win the Heisman. Pryor needs to have an incredible game against Miami to launch himself into the discussion. Something along the lines of 125 yards rushing and 250 yards passing would be just what the doctor ordered.

If Pryor averages 250 yards passing and 50 or so rushing, 2-3 TD's a game, he will be there. Outside of that, he has no chance.

And Alabama is the best team due to Mark Ingram, a good offensive line, and the best defense in the last 5 years. Julio Jones was non existant all year and he may be their best athlete.

Ingram is not the front runner. Sure, he'll be in the discussion, but he's not going to win 2 Heismans, okay?

It's cliche and annoying at this point.

Now is Pryor a "front runner", who knows, but he plays QB for a top school so he'll also be in the discussion.

Tp will continue to be an interception machine next season. Some things just cannot change. He almost threw a pick on the first play and still did the quintessential Pryor move of lean back and throw the ball straight up when under pressure. Only this time his TE bailed him out. I love that move. I've never seen anyone do it quite as well as TP......

His TE bailed him out??? Sure it was a great catch but Pryor also saw Ballard get behind the 6'0 DB. Not hard to throw it up and let your TE go get it or just an incompletion.

Pryor has 2 INT's in his last five games including three teams with 10+ wins or more.

Sorry, but he's not Heisman material yet. If he sticks around for his senior season, maybe. I'm concerned with the fact he's has two seasons of coaching and off season training, and still looks clueless at times chucking the ball. He has too many flaws in the passing game to be mentioned at this point.

OSU won the Oregon game despite Pryor?

Yeah right. I'd like to see Bauserman try scramlbing for those 3rd down conversions. Pryor had basically over 100 yards rushing without the sacks added in.
