For about 2 years he was hacking away at everything. Recently, he has started to walk a lot more. He is finally seeing the ball better or showing patience...either way, it's great to see. Let's hope it lasts.

I'm ready for a 80/20 split with Gomes and Perez.

Carrasco: 3rd in WHIP, 11th in ERA, 7th in BAvg

He's had good ABs for the past week and a half.

Yeah this stretch is over about 3 weeks now. Maybe slightly longer.

I'd be okay with 60/40

These two answers seem very contradictory.

It is currently 65/35. I want to see more Gomes than that right now.

Hell, if Gomes could keep his batting average somewhere around where it is right now (.239), I'd call that a "win" for him.

not at all...I'm excited to be able to say I'd like to see a 60/40 split with Gomes and Perez, something I couldn't say a month ago...anything else?

I asked when we should legit be excited that Gomes may be a lot closer to 2014 Silver Slugger than last 2 seasons. You said now, pretty emphatically, implying you think he is back. Then said you want that Gomes to play LESS than he already is this season and give MORE at bats to a guy hitting .158 with 1 extra base hit (2B).

So yeah, I was confused.

Over his last 14 games spanning nearly 3 and a half weeks (hasn't played every day), he is hitting .378 with a .478 On base %.

He's raised his average from .067 to .239 in that span and his OBP from .152 to .346. Pretty cool. Stay hot, Yan.

Hopefully his hotness rubs off on Kip.

Bad start in Back half of 1st inning. Salazar gifted Bautista a homer. Cmon

Salazar is quickly becoming my most frustrating player on this roster because he's got the good and just isn't delivering.

F-ing Hammy (for all you golfers) says "Bautista with a 2 iron shot to make it 3-2."

That's ok, Salazar doesn't like pitching with a lead anyway...smfh
