Offense looked good...sans Yan. If only we had someone behind him that could hit and was pushing for a job. Perez isn't hitting well enough to warrant being everyday starter.

I thought Perez might have found something in the playoffs last year. But he hasn't gotten the ABs to definitely verify it one way or the other but in his limited chances this year he hasn't done much to earn a chance to play daily to see what he has.

Actually, at the end of the season, Perez showed me he was good.

I was a little taken aback when Tito said that Gomes would be the starter.

Now he is having a shitty start to the season.

Give Perez the same AB and then judge.

I walk away from the radio with 2 outs in the second for Detroit at 0-0, come back and wham!....it's 2-0.

.........BTW........ some trivia on the Jose Ramirez 6 RBI game. Who was the last Tribe 2nd baseman to do that? (You might guess Baerga or Alomar......and be wrong)
