I love when the Lakers are the road team in this game. Totally different atmosphere than Lakers' home games.

Lakers big.

Two home teams?.....I bet there will be a lot of cheating going on.

The Clippers, mainly Chris Kaman, have been spouting off how confident they think they can beat the Lakers tonight.

I think this will be a close contest. Lakers by 4.

Tons. And we will be able to see it. When the Clips are the home team they actually turn the lights on at Staples.

Outside of the Utah loss(-8), when they lose, they lose pretty bad.

The Clippers have been surprisingly frisky lately. Surprising to me because I just didn't think this team could mesh well together despite the amount of talent they have. However, they have had some guys start to step up. First of all, Chris Kaman needs to be in the All-Star game. Period. He has been solid all year, even when this team was poor at best. Second, they've started to get some big play out of Baron, similar to what he did at Golden State. And third, they've been getting consistent play out of other guys, specifically Eric Gordon, who's scored double digits every game since late November. The bad thing about this run is that it probably saves Mike Dunleavy's job for the rest of the season, which is simply not a good thing for this team.

I know this win was bittersweet for Bill Simmons.

Shitty loss for LA, but nothing to die over.

I know. Sweet because the Lakers lost to the Clippers, but bitter because wins like that by the Clips really make it difficult for him to ridicule Dunleavy's coaching.

This team clearly does not give a fuck about this stretch of the season. It's almost comical.

Exactly. lol, it's almost as comical to see him fall into deep depression about the thought of Dunleavy keeping his job.

I loved his one column about Dunleavy from last year when the Clippers blew a huge lead against the Cavs in the fourth quarter and lost. He just dissected every little thing that happened in that time period in chronological order in this "WTF is wrong with Dunleavy" mode.

One of my favorite extended rants of all time.

Kobe with 33 points on 10-30 shooting from the field? How can anyone stand playing with Kobe?

The point being. Kobe is not a great shooter. Never has been. I'll take LBJ's 3 ball each and every time.

Lakers lose yet again.

Kobe 32 points on 14-37 shooting. Kobe took more shots than both Blazers and Lakers benches combined.
