Yeah, there is video of it.

Not it sure why Victor wasn't sticking up for his teammates, and basically saying Sanchez was ok to cheapshot them, but whatever lol

Maybe he wants traded or DFA'd so he doesn't have to end his career with a fucking loser.

Stanton now with 50 HR....5th player ever with 50 before September. A week before the ASB he wasn't top 4 in NL HR, less than two months later he leads NL by 16 HR

So, last night, CC Sabathia apparently cried like a bitch because he was pitching with a sore knee and some dude on the Red Sox had the audacity to bunt on him (leading to a throwing error) in the first inning. Up to offering to meet with him in centerfield before the next game.

LOL

Between the NBA vs MLB, I have a hard time determining which players are the bigger bitches. On one end the NBA's passive aggressive behavior would make teenage girls blush and on the other end MLB players get butt hurt over the dumbest shit.

It would be awesome if the Yanks could catch the Red Sox.

That is horseshit. Not sure whom it was but saw an ex player say CC should lose weight?

Years ago when we were facing Jon Niese from Defiance and then of the Mets we put down a number of bunts on him when he was having back issues. You do whatever you can to try ethically to get on base and bunting....is as good as any!

The easy to read post season tiebreakers! Little more in depth than the nil final tiebreaker of a coin flip

Votto/Stanton/Blackmon for MVP?

Goldschmidt? Arenado? Bryant? Rendon?

My vote goes:

1. Stanton
2. Votto
3. Blackmon
4. Goldschmidt
5. Rendon
6. Arenado
7. Bryant

Playoffs begin tonight! I'll be interested in seeing how the hitters change their approach to try harder to score runs by going to the opposite field more, something I picked up on back in the 1972 when Johnny Bench took an outside edge palm ball from Dave Giusti out to RF to tie up the NLCS in the 9th inning. Up to then I had frequently criticized Bench for trying to pull the ball to LF all the time and hitting into so many double plays, something I continued to do for the rest of his career. Does anyone have any stats comparing percentage of fair balls hit to the opposite field in the post season vs. the regular season? Incentive now seems to be be higher than ever to go oppo with all the extreme shifts being employed.

That helped him much in getting thru 2 innings giving up just 4 runs. Lucky to get out of the game without being the loser.

Interesting. Made David Freese a hero one postseason. Cardinals def made going oppo their thing when the going gets tough.
