Not.
In a frickin' heartbeat.

Popeye's and Bojangles are 3rd rate, at best.

Keep stopping at Canes....or Chick Fil A....over Popeye's/

I haven't tried all the tenders on the list, but Arby's are actually really good.

Agreed. They used to have popcorn chicken too, not sure if they still do, but it was really good as well.

How can anyone eat KFC? Absolutely disgusting.

I liked it when I was a little kid, so I can still stomach it to a degree. Still, the only times I eat it are when I'm visiting my mom and she decides to pick it up. Fortunately, since that's usually Sundays, I'm usually a bit drained from the weekend drinking, so I could eat a big plate of most stuff without even noticing what it is, lol.

As far as name restaurants, I don't know that I really like any of them that I've been to, at least recently. BW3 is a ripoff. Roosters is good, but every time I get there, it's packed as hell and "packed as hell" is not my preferred eating atmosphere. I've always heard great things about Popeyes, but the one time I've gone there, I was a bit underwhelmed. For me, the best experiences always have been local joints, both for wings and actual chicken.

I agree it's overrated. It's much better chicken than KFC, but still fast food. As wings go, I actually do like BW3 and it's one of the better places I've been (for wings).

Zaxby's is pretty good - not overly tasty, but pretty clearly good, clean chicken. Seems much healthier, relatively speaking.

I LOVE Chik-fil-A. But really good fried chicken I find is usually to figure out the best local options (like with most food, chains are never close to the best).

Bojangles Cajun Filet Biscuit is better than anything BW3 can offer.

KFC was my first chicken love. It was literally the only fried chicken place we had within 40 minutes of where I grew up. I still love their popcorn chicken, I don't care what anyone says.

Their popcorn chicken isn't bad. The other bone-in options tend to have much more fat and grizzle than other places.

Not really seeing your point. No there aren't many left but they apparently do enough business to keep going. Not sure how they at any different than Arby's...Arby's just better ran from top to bottom.

Just didn't know that any of them still existed.

Do they still have milkshakes? Those were the best.

I think so. I just get a regular sandwich. Their roast beef is better, toasted bun and their barbecue type sauce all decidedly better than Arby's.

It's not real cheap and there is never anyone there....no clue how it stays open. Also do t know how KMart stays open in Chillicothe and Hillsboro...that baffles me.

Not that I know of but the Chillicothe Kmart is crazy. They built a new and huge one back in the very early 90's right before Walmart really got big in the area.

For SE Ohio Chillicothe is easily the busiest little city (big for SE Ohio) and many many bigger strip malls doing very well....and then you go by the huge KMart and it's tumbleweeds and crickets. Lot probably holds 500 cars and you never see more than 5-10 cars.

Mrs. Zunardo and I stopped at the Rax in Lancaster on our to a game at Fairfield Union last fall. Yeah, we did a double-take when we saw it, couldn't resist stopping for old-times sake. We were sure they had left central Ohio completely.

How depressing. It still has the 1980's design, but without any upkeep in the last 30 years. Carpeting was stained and threadbare, and the fade markings still showed where the salad bar used to be. Counters worn and chipped.

The workers there were also tired-looking and outdated. The sandwiches and fries were adequate, but we didn't linger any longer than we had to. Just us and about four other customers during the dinner rush hour.

Very sad to see. When I was working nights 1987-1988, I would take a short nap when I got home in the morning, then run to the Rax closest to my house for "breakfast" at their salad bar, which was far superior to Wendy's at that time.
