Initially ruled a common foul, then the refs huddle and called it flagrant. Things that make you go "hmmm....."

Yeah it was a flimsy call.
At the same time, I've never understood why fouling at the end of a game is allowed, if you go 100% by the book there is a call in the book for it (the old intentional foul was rolled into today's flagrant 1, and every foul at the end is technically intentional) that they don't use.

I think it was the right call by the letter of the rule... It wasn't the norm grab at him/slap him type of try and foul him. He pushed him from behind/on the side with a clear path to the basket.

Seeing the replay again, this is the better description. I thought it was Flagrant 1 when I watched live. Nothing since has don't anything but make me agree with myself. I'm not sure how a shove in the back is anything but flagrant?
