Dayton loses five games all season before losing to close out the regular season, first game of the A10 tourney, and now first game of NCAA tourney.

Would be an interesting analysis to know how many slumping teams underperform their seed, and how many streaking teams outperform.

Saw an earlier answer to my question - 7 straight years a Round of Four team has advanced.

How do you go from being up 17-5 to trailing 38-27 at half? That takes some serious effort.

Well, one way is you haven't scored in 5 minutes, so don't try to run your offense and just brick a 25 footer

Your must watch 2nd round games....

Mine: UCLA/UC, Louisville/UM....and I think for whatever reason Northwestern/Gonzaga might be great.

Xavier/FSU is unlikely to disappoint. USC/Baylor probably the same.

Several meh match ups though

They're so inconsistent. They beat Carolina, Duke, and Virginia during the season.

They even looked great to start the game tonight. Then they went in the crapper.

They did a hell of a job getting back in it and hanging with UCLA (got within 4), but it looks like they're out of gas.

Saw a tweet that it'll be the first time no 13+ seed will advance in 10 years

You gotta learn to save your energy rooting for your team and minimize the amount you waste on rooting against others.

South Carolina being placed in their home state as a 7 seed had this written all over it.

They can be all athletic and gather twice as baby offensive boards as Duke, pull off the upset and then lose by 20 the next round not in their backyard.
