Was that before or after the units robbed works of their pensions, unit dues and jobs.... The corporation provide insurance coverage, many shops had inhouse medical care, mills career bid position oppertuity. What the units did was kill jobs, limit corporation profit, limit future expansion and basically forced companies to close or move production out of America.

you said "family store" .. So was your parents mill worker or store owners....

You mean all those promises corporations in the rust belt reneged on. Grandparents store. Now unions were the major reason why workers were ever able to achieve reasonable hours and some roughly resembling fair play. Corporations driven strictly by profits brought suffering to the workers. Your continuous mention of "units" are a sign of increasing dementia, get help.
"was it a unit labor worker store or was your parents against units?"
"Was that before or after the units robbed works of their pensions, unit dues and jobs"
"What the units did was kill jobs"
either dementia or your own conscience worked to prevent your attempt to make false charges against unions.

I apologize for misusage of "unions and unit" what the minds eye want to sees and what reality is does not alway register.
Spell checker is not alway your friend....
Type to fast, think ahead to far and carelessness is a problem.

Unions in 1968 Republic Steel went out on strike for almost 6 weeks. demanding a .10 per hour raise. In the union meeting the bosses ramped up the hype with beer, food and false promises without facts.. Toting the bad corporation and the evil of working for a profit hungry organization.. Unions get the worker more so they can take more, at the rest of losing jobs and present income of the workers.
Union had a great place in the history of American manufacturing but they over stepped their usefulness and importants as automation, computers and production development advanced and unions ideology turned more socialistic. Workers became educated, Union leadership did not

I brought up the fact at a labor making $175.00 week if the strike last over a week, and he loses that week pay, at .10 and hour wage increase it would take 43 weeks to recover that one week lose of pay. The bottom line was simple the union would be the only one to benifit from this strike. In the end the settlement was for .05.
what happen next was layoffs and security department was the first to be farmed out.

Gosh a ruddies, large corporations are soulless profits machine. They wish the maximum dividend while minimizing labor cost. Paying the lowest wage possible, spending the least possible on the working conditions of their workers. Individual workers have no way to combat this situation. But in Union there is strength by striking and by political action they have bettered the condition of the American workers despite the almost unlimited funding available to their corporation opponents and their acolytes.
Unit consistently being used for Union.

Verbal paraphasias are confusions of words or the replacement of one word by another real word; another definition is that of a contextually inappropriate English word or an English word of a syntactically incorrect class. Verbal paraphasias are the only type of paraphasias that can also be linked to nonfluent aphasias, and they are mainly caused by lesions to the posterior temporal region of the brain, the head of the caudate nucleus, or both.

gosh a ruddies- the idea is not to pick winners or losers but to support the good and right over the bad and evil
-the observation covers the symptoms you have displayed on the site, get some help.
-in a world dominated by corporation and with a political system dominated by their money- unions are the only real force protecting working people
-Most Americans preferred Hillary to Trump by several million
-Obama was popular with the American people and history will be kind to him

It wasn't a daily chore, but I did take over shoveling snow off our driveway and sidewalk when I hit 7th grade.
