They are in the same sewer as the democrats.

The workable plan is simply to repeal obamaKare. Government cannot lower costs; government involvement always raises costs. Repeal, and allow free people and free markets to work, and allow small employers to band together to obtain group rates.

Obviously not, as that option died yesterday.

I still don't know why the GOP spent all this time going after healthcare when there were many other areas where they could have made real progress. They just wasted months for nothing. Meanwhile, the big items, like taxes, infrastructure, and other budget items are still out there. Oh, and the debt ceiling is coming up soon.
It was high drama last night last night and it was a huge fail for the GOP.

That vote last night was a joke. The Senators that voted no, voted for a much larger repeal in 2015 and ran on repealing Obamacare. Way to let down your constituents.

They are pussies and I don't understand their logic. They won seats and took control by running on "Obamacare repeal." Now all of a sudden they think they will lose all of their seats if they repeal it? Wtf?

I think they would lose seats if it passed. If I were the left I would be hoping it would pass. If the right's bill isn't any better or even worst than Obamacare the right would have to own it just like the left has owned Obamacare. The left could then campaign on the right's failure to pass a meaningful health care plan.

In midterms it seems like the public tends to think the grass is always greener on the other side. Go figure Obamacare never broke 50% in popularity until the GOP actually had a chance to cripple it.

Then again there's also the chance that they ultimately never really intended or believed in repealing Romney/Obama/HeritageCare in the first place and it was all Kabuki theatre.

As suspected, McCain and Collins are RINO's. The People lose again, temporarily.

A self serving lust for power and money.

A fear of countless political campaign commercials and media humping of people suffering and dieing because they lost their Obamacare. Whatever form of twister need be made to preserve power. Even the best of them end up loving people crawling into their office to lick their shoes.

Mccain hates Trump. Thankfully personal animosity would never influence a politicians vote.

They won the seats by running on Obamacare repeal which (supposedly) would also have lowered prices and didn't leave millions with out insurance. When the GOP proposed the opposite, enough repubs voted no.

Remember when.......?

His first day in office drumpf said. lol.....yea, ok. "Great health care at a tiny, fraction of the cost and its going to be so easy!" Yup....keep lying drumpf.
