Local to me only on here but our preschool teacher always says to her kids in the hallway "walking feet"...and seemingly half the teachers pre k through 3rd grade are constantly saying "walking feet"

I do love saying stuff that other people find annoying. Bae, fleek, lit, etc. I find them stupid but funny.

Before my wife and I were married, I called her my finance.

I retired from the Postal Service last year, so I had built up a a plethora of business-speak phrases that I loathed:

- Lean Six Sigma (and green belt, black belt, etc.)
- look at it from the 500 foot level
- growing the business
- human resources
- "this new initiative is not just the flavor-of-the-month" (translation: it's the new flavor of the month)
..... and many, many others.

One phrase that sets my teeth on edge is at a restaurant when the server asks, "And how is your food tasting (or tastin')?" I'm dying to reply, "I'm not sure how, since it doesn't have taste buds,", but I'm sure I'd just get a blank look. I blame that trend mostly on McDonald's "I'm lovin' it" campaign.

1."none of us are as smart as all of us"
2.referring to your co-workers as "the team". Most of the team would stab you in the back let alone help in most cases.
3."think outside the box"
4."value add"
5."take it off line"

+1. I got in the habit of saying that and then caught myself.

I don't mind the slang words by young people, but find it annoying as hell by people in their upper 20s and above.

Mine are people that get "couldn't care less" wrong. I hear it all the time, even by smart writers and authors.
