Wouldn't you rather have Revis?

God yes. I guess Haden takes William Gay's place....I don't know.

I wish it wasn't 3 years of $9 million.

Wow. I was thinking he might get $6M-$7M based off of reputation

Really, it is not from what I have read. It's $7M this year, only year guaranteed. Club options for years two and three at $10M per.

7 mil for a trial year. I'll give it a go. He can't be worse than Gay, he's been a bum for as long as I can remember. He's currently behind Burns on the depth chart.

Damn good point.

All Kessler and Hogan tonight. I doubt both make the 53. Neither really deserve it. OSU game makes this an easy miss.

Wrong. Hogan should be the 3rd QB, at worst. Hopefully they can find a trade partner to move on from Kessler. Will likely cut Osweiler and look for a veteran to back up Kizer after cuts.

None of the 3 belong on an NFL roster, is my point. So, no, not wrong.

I beg to differ. If the Browns decide to keep Kessler as their backup, which I think would be a mistake, and stash Hogan away on the practice squad, I can almost guarantee that a team grabs Hogan off their practice squad. So, to counter your "point", I bet there are teams that believe Hogan "belongs on an NFL roster."

BR, I'm confident even you can have a stronger arm than Kessler or Hogan and probably could even complete a pass 15 yards down the field. The fact they can't excludes them from deserving a spot on an NFL roster. Now, if you're advocating Hogan deserves to hold a clipboard while never ever playing, then.. ok.

Who said anything about "playing?" A backup is a guy you use in an emergency. Landry Jones sucks, and should never see the field for Pittsburgh, but he's still a backup and on an NFL roster. The league is so barren of backup QB talent that Hogan has shown enough this preseason to land a roster spot, for someone, to be a developmental QB. Kessler has shown me nothing and shouldn't be on this roster.

Landry sucks but at least can get the ball to Pitt's WR's. Hopefully you're not one of those guys who agree that Kessler/Hogan/Osweiller deserve a spot on an NFL roster over Kaepernick b/c they're better qb's.

at least we agree Kessler doesn't deserve to have a roster spot.

Kaepernick is a better QB but he made his own bed. I shed no tears for that clown.

That's debatable, I guess. But I'm glad you can at least acknowledge they aren't as good as him.

Yeah, not really with his pig socks and Castro shirt. Getting what he deserves, imo.

As far as the Browns go, I can see the Bears as a 'W" this year. Granted, this game was stock boy versus Uber driver but the Bears might be Jets-like this year. John Fox will be lucky to make it through the season. Especially with the fact he was afraid to let his shiny new rookie QB (Trubisky) throw a pass last night.

I was curious about my boy Desir, looked him and saw this: "Pierre Desir excelled in press coverage last night. His length led to the INT. The corner I've been the most impressed with this preseason."

The Browns have released Brock Osweiler and Cody Parkey.

Thank you for Myles Cody!
