Miles Garrett is the #1, odds on favorite of most franchises but if you LOVE a QB in this draft, why wouldn't you take him #1, since that's the most important position? I'm not advocating they use that pick for him but if he's the guy you love, it would make sense.
It was just me thinking out loud, more than anything. My mindset is that if Garoppolo, Cousins, Joe Schmoe, etc is the top guy that they REALLY want it's like by trading up for a guy like Trubisky (or whoever) is saying "oh well, didn't get OUR guy but at least we got a QB." I'm assuming they'd really like a drafted QB if they did that but why settle if you can get your guy and it's reasonable?
