Really, they both need to go. Bradley was soooo bad passing yesterday. Open play, set pieces, one touches or after control. Just terrible distribution. Jones, I barely even noticed on the field, so that's not good.

I can agree with that. I'd rather Nagbe stay inside.

Pulisic is very, very good. Hard to imagine he is only 18.

Pretty much everyone was very good to great tonight, minus Wood imo.

Frustrating that Bradley has amazing touch on that goal, but can't hit a pass over 5 yards to save his life. At least he and Acosta worked very well together. Haven't had a midfielder who could play with MB in forever it seems.

This is not really a shocker, and honestly it's pretty mild to the other shit you hear about fans in most other countries. Fans in other countries are always a reminder that the racism/sexism/prejudice/etc in the US is not even close to being as bad as most other parts of the world.

As for the game it would have been nice to get the 3 points, but it was pretty obvious in the 2nd half the USMNT had no interest going for the 3 points. I feel like 90% of the 2nd half was played on the USMNT's side of the field. They had no interest in attacking and trying to steal a win in Azteca. I wonder if we will ever see them win a WCQ match in Azteca in our lifetime. Regardless, you can't complain about leaving Mexico with a point.

Iran is the first team to officially qualify for the World Cup. I think it is fate for the US, Russia, and Iran all to be in the same group.

Holy shit, Claudio Bravo! Stops 3/3 penalties vs Portugal, and Chile advances on PKs (3-0) in Confed Cup. Bravo...(see what I did there?)

Fc Cincinnati just beat the Chicago fire in the US Open Cup.

They should just be an mls team.

My fiance bought me tickets to the USA/CR WCQ next Friday for my bday. I have never been to a WCQ match, I am pretty pumped.

That's sweet.

I was at one in Chicago a few years ago and it was incredible.

I went to the USA/Germany friendly prior to the 2016 World Cup and that was a good time. It will be more excited to watch a game that actually counts for something.

Hopefully the USMNT returns the favor to Costa Rica from their ass kicking last November.

Qualifying matches are the best, aside from actually WC games.

No discussion on the game?

First off, soccer fan or not I highly recommend any sports fan to add a WCQ to their bucket list. The atmosphere was electric. It's too bad they didn't score, because the stadium was ready to explode.

I felt like the US played better, but they couldn't finish. Very frustrating when you consider CR'a goals came off two lazy ass defensive plays. Is Tim Ream always that awful? He got WORKED the entire game. Luckily Panama lost last night, so the USMNT is still third in the Hex and they don't have to play Mexico or CR again. It still blows to to come out of a home WCQ game with 0 points. We will see how they respond on Tuesday at Honduras.

Sweet seats.

I missed the majority of this game (was at UC soccer game). Disappointing result. They better pick it the fuck up, I'll be pissed if they miss the WC.
