Johnson was probably going to race the horse regardless of what anyone said.

Look, when you're a circus act of a team, it does a great job of detracting attention from minor details such as your inability to make any noise in the postseason other than "GODDAMN DALTON SUCKS WHEN IT COUNTS!" and "HOLY SHIT THEY WOULD HAVE GOT THAT ONE IF THEIR DEFENSE DIDN'T HAVE THE TWO DUMBEST PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE!!".

The best Cincinnati in recent times is the "goofy 'look at me' antics" Cincinnati that Johnson worked to keep going, not the "full retard Cincinnati" of today.

Any race under like 60 yards Ross would win quite easily.

Like ironman said, I'm not taking anyone in a race over Billy Hamilton. Dude is so fucking fast.

Curious what makes you so sure of that?

I find this statement ridiculous. Completely ridiculous.

Ross is more explosive, he would get a faster start. That's what I'm basing it on.

So say Ross would run a 4.24 and Billy a 4.29 or 4.31.....that would be easily?

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Billy gets up to 21.X MPH when stealing a base. Considering it's 90 feet between bases and having a leadoff of 8 feet or so plus deceleration at the end, he's reaching 21 MPH in approximately 70 feet. That's pretty explosive to me. His top speed making a catch has been measured at 23.3 MPH while Tyreek Hill had the fastest speed in a game last year at 22.7 MPH. Obviously not the exact same as Hill had pads and Billy was tracking a catch, but I just don't believe there's anyone except a world class sprinter that could beat Hamilton in a race, lol.

I watched Darrell Green race Carl Lewis and Leroy Burrell.....Lewis beat him by a stride and a half and Green was tied with silver medalist Burrell. That was a 100m race....and no one was ahead of Green the first half of that race.

In a 40-yard dash, yes, that's a big difference.

.2 difference could mean multiple rounds in a draft slot.

As I said, I'm not doubting Billy's speed, I'm saying in a short distance, he would not win because Ross is more explosive and would start better.

Now, say they are racing around the bases or a 200-meter, I'd give Hamilton a decent shot.

If they raced side by side and ran those times you could barely tell who even won....no way is that easily. .2?....in talking .05 or .07

If they literally raced around the bases, Ross wouldn't clear the 3rd base coach's box.

I agree Hamilton wins around the bases. In a straight 115 meter? Dang close.

I've just watched baseball a ridiculous amount for 30+ years and I've never seen anyone seemingly outrun the ball...defy other players instincts of the game. Fastest MLB player I've ever seen.

Darrell Green and Deion the fastest NFL guys I've ever seen. I would take Green over Deion/Billy.

But I'd love to watch that race.
