Only 53

Being huge in the 80's has led to many early deaths.

It was truly impressive how a heartthrob for seemingly every girl from ages 10-30 (from 85-89)....didn't even like girls. He may have fooled more people than any gay person in history. His "Faith" poster was on the wall of nearly every girl I knew.

Never thought about a GM top ten, he was very pop in the 80's, let's give this a whirl:

1) Careless Whisper
2) Last Christmas
3) Father Figure
4) Wake Me Up
5) Freedom
6) Everything She Wants
7) Freedom 90
8) Faith

I think his best was the duet with Elton John "Don't let the sun go down on me"

Father Figure....a very unique sound and rhythm.

His vocals were under appreciated. Dude was crazy talented....too bad the drugs led him to crazy things after he peaked.
