The national media doesn't really have to do much at this point in time. They don't have to make the dems or repubs do much to expose themselves. Both parties are increasingly devouring their own and swallowing the bitterest of pills.

Even all-exalted Clintons have people turning on them left and right, at the very moment the focus is on Bill Clinton. It is really fascinating to watch the movers and shakers in DC's dem party whiplashing on Bill Clinton - something that most of us never saw as even having potential of happening.

If there is such a thing as a scoreboard in this climate of expose's and accusations, the dems are outscoring the repubs. And it doesn't even matter what the news organizations want.

what the media does that is not right is as soon as they get a story they run it, if it fits their narative. If the story is wrong or not true, oh well. No redactions, no corrections. Oh well, we ruined that persons life.

Agreed. This was long in the works. I figured the Turkey stuff would be included and surprised it is only 2 pages.
Maybe if he pleads guilty, there may be a longer agreement released.

It depends what else is thrown in about Flynn. If this is it, sure, technically, Trump could pardon.
But, you know as well as I do, that is a shitty PR and political move.
Then again, Trump doesn't give a shit about the optics of a political move, which is why he will do it.

I'll agree that it is not directly tied into the collusion thread. But, I'll also say that may change given what Flynn spills or details to Mueller going forward.
Also, not a great look when the former campaign chair and foreign policy adviser/ National Security Adviser are arrested.

I wonder if Trump was not pressured to fire the guy, if he would still be in the job as NSA? Remember,Trump didn't want to fire him and told Comey to back off the investigation because he is a good guy.
