This I wholeheartedly agree with.

Yes, it's obnoxious. You could have someone like sleeper's new persona post the same exact thing and replace Hannity with Keith Olberman and it would be the same effect.

Limbaugh, Levin, Beck.

I don't care for Hannity much, but to be fair he is more center than most of MSNBC and even some on CNN.
Not sure I'd go that far, but I'll agree that he's not as bad as Beck or Limbaugh. And I don't know who Levin is.

Mark Reed Levin is an American lawyer, author, and the host of syndicated radio show The Mark Levin Show. Levin worked in the administration of President Ronald Reagan and was a chief of staff for Attorney General Edwin Meese.

Great American.

Ehhhh, I don't think Limbaugh is nearly as right-wing as Hannity. Hannity is H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E....though probably not as bad as Beck. Not sure I've really ever heard Levin.

It's not just that Hannity is a blowhard, he's an idiot.

Heard on the morning radio that some Twitter users are suing Trump. Because he blocked them.

It's petty for sure but they may actually have legal standing. It raises an interesting question about social media as public record/forum. The argument being, If Trumps Twitter is a public forum with a government official, none can be banned.

Let me rephrase, the legal question is academically interesting. The fact someone was butthurt enough to actually make it reality is ridiculous.

See, I don't think he is stopping their public discourse whatsoever. He has no control over their Twitter accounts in order to do this. But he can stop himself from seeing what they are posting and therefore not having any interaction with them, which is a perfectly legal thing to do.

I think it's a cowardly move, to be sure. But he is not altering their lives in any meaningful manner, IMO. And if they think that he IS altering their lives in a meaningful way, then I would prescribe leaving electronics alone for a while for those people who are so affected and effected.

But how is blocking on social media different then say instructing mail carriers to not deliver my mail or having a firewall block my email address if I wanted to send a letter or email to the President or my representative every day that says "you suck"? Just because social media has the ability to disengage from that doesn't mean the public official should be allowed to. As long as I'm not threatening or committing a crime I should have every right to use any official public forum with that elected person to let them know I think they suck.

Again I TOTALLY agree with you that this is such a snowflake move and absurd to sue over.

Does blocking someone on Twitter stop them from seeing your posts, you from seeing their posts or both?

I think I read an article or saw something where a dem is trying to pass a bill to make social media part of the "public record". So I think technically it is not part of the public record right now, probably because no one knew social media would come to this when they wrote up whatever rule this is.
That said, suing over it is stupid.

Well, I think Trump pulled the coward move by blocking people. If he wants to spout off on Twitter, he should be able to handle it.

But yes, it is stupid to get this upset over somebody blocking you on Twitter that you're going to sue them, that's infantile.

Hopefully the media stays enthralled with it too ...........................while he continues the massive rollback of obama's crippling regulatory and administrative state.

If he'd actually obstructed justice, you'd be in good shape. He didn't, hence the oncoming disappointment.

Unless someone can find a way to impeach a POTUS strictly for being a dickhead, 2020 is the best anyone can hope for.

Still looking forward to Democrats trying to explain how Trump obstructed an investigation of a non-crime...while the Obama administration did not obstruct an investigation of an actual crime (and they did that more than once).
