The libertarian party is nearly as bad as the two major parties. I know a few "L''s that are just furious with party leadership, who chose "party over cause", and put up Gary Johnson/Weld, imperfect Libertarians at best. Worse, they did a terrible job representing Libertarianism, were unprepared for interviews, and let a golden opportunity to build the party go by their carelessness. Having double digit support as the debates came around, they didn't come close to 15% and watched as support drained away. Hell, even Jill Stein grew her paltry numbers. What once was 12%....and now you're hoping for 5%.

I find it interesting that this was the year "blue-collar working families" magically morphed into "uneducated whites."

I'll give credit where credit is due. You did call this and everyone said you were wrong.

Nice job!

And apparently, people everywhere are taking selfies at the polling stations and also taking pics of their ballots to put on on Facebook.

Johnson for president, if for no other reason than to try to help a third party get into the mix, since the two main ones are led by dumbasses.

I voted today, and voted Hilldawg. I think Hillary wins but a small margin, and GOP gets house and senate. We accomplish almost nothing with total gridlock over the next two years, and in some places go backwards. America will be worse off for it come next presidential election, Hillary will be blamed and GOP wins 2020 Election.

He isn't the best libertarian candidate, and he has come off as a wacko lately, but I like the libertarian platform and I refuse to be a partisan sheep and vote down the party line for either piece of shit candidate. In DC I voted for the libertarian ticket down the line for council positions. I voted "NO" to recommend statehood for DC.
My issue with Libertarianism t's a one-size-fits all approach. I have no problems with being Libertarianism on certain issues (same as being Socialist on certain issues) but to say "less govt" throughout ignores the nuance of policy. It's intellectually lazy.

Totally get this and agree. I just wish there were better 3rd party candidates than Gary Johnson and Jill Stein. Both come off as wack jobs IMO. Not sure I'd trust either to be a walmart greeter, let alone President. I hate Trump, but I think he's more competent than either of them.

I was listening to the radio at lunch and heard Karl Rove say he's hearing the networks may call Florida when polls close

This is also an intellectually lazy argument against libertarianism. I blame the libertarian party though for doing a terrible job branding themselves and explaining their platform.

I'm not a fan of this as we are a little unclear on the how the data is collected and how reliable this data actually is.
