Cincinnati fans have to ask themselves if the Bearcats have faced anyone as talented as OSU this season. Also, UC doesn't play the schedule OSU does.

Has OSU beat anyone as talented at UC this year? No.

If we asked if Cincinnati would beat Iowa everyone would say most likely. Well, OSU and Iowa look to be equals today.

I think USC and PSU are both better than UC. Iowa as well, just my opinion.

Doubtful. They gave up 26 to Purdue and 31 to Navy. In no world does the OSU defense hold UC to 10 points.
fwiw, the defense only gave up 20 of the 26 to Purdue. There were two times that OSU turnovers gave Purdue the ball at or inside the OSU 20 and both times the defense held them to 3 and out and a FG.

also, Navy scored 27 against OSU, not 31

Thanks for the correction.

That great OSU defense isn't look all that good against an extremely overhyped Iowa team.

OSU didn't beat USC, and I don't know if they are better than Cincinnati or not.

No way Penn State is better. Just absolutely no way.

UC's offensive line has faced a defensive line every bit as talented as OSU's in USF.

Usually you are a knowledgable poster. Not so much with this post. I think OSU would win but it would be close because OSU refuses to even try to score on defenses that they have the ability to. UC's offensive is good and would probably not be shut out. But to think that USF dline is as good as OSU's you are crazy. OSU's D line is one of the best in the nation. It's really too bad that this OSU offense is so horrible. This D is special and could have allowed for another magical season if the offense was even just average. Especally earlier on in the season.

I'd love to see this game happen.

Chekwa would get torched against Gilyard. Those who are saying that Chekwa can man up with anybody, haven't been watching the same games I have been

Most NFL scouts would agree with my assessment of USF's defensive line this year. Jason Pierre-Paul and George Selvie are two of the best defensive ends in the country this year and will be first day picks in April, assuming that the Haitian Sensation will declare at the end of the year. If you go back to your pre season publications and look up the National Unit Rankings you will see USF and OSU grouped together at around 5 in most of them. The pre season publication of record Phil Steele has OSU at 5 and USF right behind them at 6. Watching the season play out hasn't changed the assessment of either teams defensive line.

I am really sick of hearing this....Some of you people who see nothing but Buckeye football and don't watch the sport would know UC is for real. They are a very good team with a great offense. You talk about the Bearcats defense being horrible they have played great all year except one game, by the way they won that game. There defense has shut down everyone except UConn in the 2nd half...Yes there defense played darn good against WVU holding them to 21 points, making them punt 6 times and holding on a 4th down.

OSU is a solid team if Pryor plays good and doesn't try to force things....If he just plays and doesn't press he is the best QB in the Big 10.

In all of that I would say this.

Cincy 21 @ OSU 27
OSU 17 @ Cincy 24

I believe that early UC would remain in the game with their passing game but as the game goes farther along Ohio St. would wear them down and take control. Closer than alot of people believe.
