Probably because they started out 11-30, finishing 30-11 after that point and almost getting in. He probably got consideration for their turnaround. I'd also ask why Pop was considered? Sounds like PG to Houston now is in the works. That will be tough to get done. But I've seen a decent haul to Pacers for it, including Gordon, another player and 3 picks (but Houston will be good...so picks might suck).

CP3 still has to stay healthy which he has proven incapable of doing. They're giving up a lot for a 32 yr old guy that is hurt a lot and needs the ball in his hands. As currently structured I'd agree. They add PG, different story, which is what my post was about.
