He can't coexist with another superstar because he was with a super star for 5 years and they never won anything. And then that superstar left lol.like_that;1848961 wrote:The Thunder choked that series, and a lot of the blame can go to KD for playing like complete ass. If KD doesn't play like complete ass they make the finals and how can we say that Westbrook can't coexist with another superstar?
Sure they almost beat the warriors. But they didn't. And then a few months later Durant left, and now the two don't speak to each other.

Interesting psyche analysis.SportsAndLady;1848916 wrote:That may have been a reach to say that he ran him out of town. But my point is I don't think Westbrook is capable of being the Pippen to a Jordan. He wants to be Jordan and jack up 30+ shots a game (he had 43 damn shots last night). Durant is easily the second best player in the NBA, but Westbrook treated it like he was the best player on that team, and I think Durant didn't like that.

Yeah, he wants to "be the man" but will never win anything since he chased "Baby" Durrant out of town. I think he should go to Miami and team up with some superstars and "learn how win". Then come back to OKC. Miami has a much better fashion world, which seems to be his main interest. Easier to "piss down your leg" in the 4th there when everyone is at the beach.SportsAndLady;1848999 wrote:That was just like, my opinion, man

He had a historic season so I understand. Lebron is still my MVP choice.Through a hard count of the NBA MVP votes the first place tally of votes has Westbrook in the lead:
Westbrook: 39 first place votes
Harden: 18 first place votes
Leonard: 3 first place votes
James: 2 first place votes

Rondo out indefinitely with a fractured thumb. The break Boston needed.

Fucking ridiculous. Boston has no business winning that series, or any series in the eastern conference.

The lack of votes for Giannis is crazy to me. First player in history to finish in the top 20 in 5 categories.sleeper;1849208 wrote:http://www.thedreamshake.com/2017/4/21/15378112/russell-westbrook-nba-mvp-james-harden-vote-tracking

He's a good player and probably the future of the NBA after LBJ but I don't think he belongs in the MVP discussion this year.superman;1849226 wrote:The lack of votes for Giannis is crazy to me. First player in history to finish in the top 20 in 5 categories.
