Please. People wanted to glorifying Davis based on his draft hype but he hasn't done shit in the NBA.

I know people on here don't like facts or reality, but Davis has a lot of work to do if he wants to be mentioned in the same breathe as Westbrook.

If the Cavs lucked out and won the lottery for Davis (instead of Anthony Bennet the following year), then we wouldn't even be talking about how Cavs came back down 3-1 to win the title and avenge the 2015 finals.

We would be talking about how the Cavs won in 2015 in 6 and it would have been worse if they had Kyrie, and we would have been talking about how they just beat the Warriors in 5. If the NBA did a fantasy draft, Davis is going top 5 easily.

Durant is the corniest dude I swear. "This is when you get better, when no one is watching. Exccccccept when I let the media come watch and see how bad I act like I want it and say dumb corny stuff."

It was embarrassing to read, knowing who it was coming from.

Sounded like a 25 year old nobody trying to be a top player at his local YMCA

I wouldn't take Davis.

Anyways, I've been on record since Day 1 that he's an overrated prospect. Now don't get me wrong, he's a good player but holy shit is he overhyped. His career compares best to Carmelo where eventually he will be sent to the Knicks on a massive contract to rot and never win anything. He will never carry a team anywhere but a first round exit at best and if you are doing a fantasy draft you aren't going to take that kind of player in the top 5; assuming you know anything about basketball.

Every NBA exec disagree with you, but go on and please tell us how you know more than all of them.

NBA execs? The same NBA execs drafted players like AB, Darko, and Oden; expecting them to be great and ended up as duds. In fact most draft picks end up as duds.

Again, he's the next coming of Carmelo. His ceiling is leading a team to the 2nd round in the NBA playoffs. You'll see soon enough; he's still young so NBA execs will bet on his 'potential' when the reality is KAT is already better than him and younger. He'll never be a top 5 player in reality and I live in reality.

Karl Anthony Towns has never:

-led a team to the playoffs
-been an All-Star
-been 1st team All-NBA
-won a Gold Medal at the Olympics

...so therefore he is not better than AD.

What has Towns done in the league? Nothing.

Davis has 4 more year on KAT.

You could put a 5th grader on the US men's Olympic team and they would win gold.

Good to know where everyone stands on Davis. This will be another thread where everyone will say "No one said Davis was going to be any good in this league" when I eventually am proven correct.

Revisionist history is always fun.

I will bet you $1,000 right now that Davis will not win MVP. We can get an escrow set up.

Deal?

Actually if there's one thing that's overhyped it's Curry's pregame shooting routine. God damn who cares if he shoots from the concession stands to warm up.

He said "I bet".

The reality is no one wants to bet me because you would lose. That is the reality. Davis has no chance of ever being an MVP; that is the reality.
