Jeff Goodman ✔ @GoodmanESPN Kevin Durant expected back for the postseason, multiple sources told ESPN. “It’s not as bad as it looked,” one source said.
Told you they were being dramatic just like Curry's ankles.
Jeff Goodman Does it really matter? The Warriors are going to the NBA Finals with or without Durant. There's about 0% chance Durant isn't back and ready to play by then.like_that;1839156 wrote:Most of the reports I see say revaluated in 4 weeks. That's a big difference from will be back in 4 weeks. I hope they lose the 1 seed.
If Durant was out all of playoffs, I don't think they make the finals. Also going thru San Antonio with a KD that isn't 100% (allegedly), does not make a western conference title certain. So, yes it does matter. GSW's home court has been huge for them.sleeper;1839157 wrote:Does it really matter? The Warriors are going to the NBA Finals with or without Durant. They didn't seem to have an issue making the Finals last year without Durant.like_that;1839158 wrote:If Durant was out all of playoffs, I don't think they make the finals. Didn't have any issues? Wtf are you talking about? They were down 3-1 to OKC, and should have lost that series. On top of that, they also had much more depth. Look at GSW's depth now outside of their big 4; it is as you would say trash. Last year they had Barnes, Bogut, Ezeli, Speights, and Barbosa. All 5 have killed the cavs at some point the last 2 years. I would favor the Spurs in a series vs a durantless Warrios. Popovich would exploit the lack of depth.sleeper;1839165 wrote:They didn't seem to have an issue making the Finals last year without Durant.
They made the Finals last year without Durant. Sorry you were proven wrong.like_that;1839168 wrote:Didn't have any issues? Wtf are you talking about? They are easily worse.Laley23;1839175 wrote:Don't like GSW team this year versus the last 2, without Durant.
Curry was grade 1 Mcl last year and came back but wasn't quite the same. This could be big, probably be healthy by the time it matters, but you never know.
So the Warriors without Durant this year is the same as the Warriors without Durant last year? Please explain this one to us.sleeper;1839186 wrote:Yeah sorry for pointing to facts. Next time I'll just validate my opinion with my own opinion and then pat myself on the back.
Lakers win that series in 5 IMO. Just a horrible matchup for GSW.Commander of Awesome;1839195 wrote:Having a discussion with a buddy today at work. How bad would Shaq in his prime pwn the warriors right now? I'm guessing it would be a bloodbath.
I'd love to see Prime Shaq vs. Lebron in the Finals. Prime Shaq would ruin the Warriors.Commander of Awesome;1839195 wrote:Having a discussion with a buddy today at work. How bad would Shaq in his prime pwn the warriors right now? I'm guessing it would be a bloodbath.
The core is the same. They lost Harrison and Bogut but kept their core.like_that;1839188 wrote:So the Warriors without Durant this year is the same as the Warriors without Durant last year? Please explain this one to us.
Don't fall off the cliff back pedaling too quickly.
I'm guessing 40-25 a night against them.Commander of Awesome;1839195 wrote:Having a discussion with a buddy today at work. How bad would Shaq in his prime pwn the warriors right now? I'm guessing it would be a bloodbath.

Depends on how capable GS is at playing Hack-A-Shaq. They wouldn't be able to shut him down, but they could get in his head and cause him to have an inefficient game.Commander of Awesome;1839195 wrote:Having a discussion with a buddy today at work. Shaq had a player efficiency rating of 30.6, and compiled 29.7 points, 13.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 3.0 blocks per gam.He led the league in both offensive (11.7) and defensive (7.0) winshares that year.Heretic;1839253 wrote:Depends on how capable GS is at playing Hack-A-Shaq.
