According to the bureau's Hate Crimes Statistics report, there were 257 incidents against Muslims in 2015—the highest number since 2001 when anti-Muslim sentiment escalated after the September 11 attacks.

That's from the FBI, which I trust, and poses a very different reality than the 251 which you find funny.

Is it 251/481 too many? Of course...I don't think any reasonable person would dispute that. Let's just dial back the hysteria a little bit, and then a rational discussion can hopefully be had.

And nothing I said was incorrect, you chose to think the number was irrelevant based on you thinking 481 Muslim hate crimes in 2016 as insignificant. I take nothing back about what I reported/said. Going from 1 to 10 in a year when we elect a bigoted racist sexual predator is significant in my book. Guess we don't all have the same standards of human decency though. Interesting.

It's quite comical. I'm all for having a discussion about race/hate/injustice and looking to solve these problems that do exist, but the amount of broken logic, one-sided viewpoints, and divisive language is harmful and a waste of time.
