Smh...fast break Hornets, ball gets loose, bounces off Hornet's leg and just as it nears OB Deron Williams saves it right to Hornets player for lay in and 1

Cavs haven't scored in 3+ minutes and LeBron passes up a driving layup and turns it over

I keep hearing the excuse "well they're not playing any of their complicated defensive schemes yet and holding back for the playoffs as an excuse. The problem is, they look utterly confused at times on this vanilla defensive rotations.

Yeah that's bullshit. This team is struggling hard. Although it is bullshit how they are ending the regular season with 5 back to backs in 5 weeks. Wtf is up with that bullshit?

Boston and Washington are the only teams who can even make the Cavs break a sweat in the East. That #1 seed is really important.

Is or isn't? I think the #1 seed hasn't been important for Lebron for some time now.

Probably because the Cavs think they roll through the East regardless. This year, not so sure.

Boston won't make it to the ECF.

I don't think the 1 is that important but surely LeBron and Cavs want the 1....if they can't turn it on as needed to get the 1 seed, makes them a bit more vulnerable IMO ...might get forced to a game 7 in the east and unnecessary energy used that will be needed for the finals

This.

I'm confident enough in this team that they'll turn it around when it matters most.

I wish they weren't playing like dogshit, but it is what it is. I trust lebron and company when the playoffs roll around.

Graphics fail. Spelled Belichick incorrectly.

They dont want to try, and roll out a bunch of weak ass defenders (Love, Frye, Kyrie, Korver, LBJ half the time) and expect to hero ball their way to wins.

I'm with everyone else - I don't put much stock into losses unless it's the playoffs. But this was a 29 point loss in which they looked hopeless from start to finish. They're 6-9 in the month of March. I think they'll be in the finals until they aren't. But they aren't exactly giving much confidence to say they'll turn it around when it matters.

Like most have said, I'm not going to panic about the defense, until they hit the playoffs. In the same breath, I have no evidence to believe that they will fix it.

I was leaning this way until last night, but to be honest, I'm very concerned...they just don't look like a championship caliber team...hope I'm eating my words in June.

Everyone has to remember jr and love just came back so they are still working rotations out and such and getting everyone back into the flow. I'm still not worried. Defense is all about effort. You will see them turn it up once playoffs start. Why waste a bunch of energy playing for nothing when they really don't care about home court advantage. When they start losing playoff games I'll start to care

Lol I'm too lazy to go look it up but I feel like you and some others were saying this exact same thing last year around this time... and we all saw how that turned out.

JR has suuuuuuuuuuucked something awful since coming back. Defensively he's confused as can be as well. Game 7 in Boston or Washington doesn't sound as fun as game 7 in Cleveland.

Currently looks like this to me:
R1 4-0
R2 4-2
CF 4-2
Finals 2-4
