James 40
Love 36
Irving 40

That's what happens when you blow a 22 pt lead. SMHSonofanump;1831910 wrote:Would have thought to rest some on this road trip, not tonight:

Totally doesn't matter lol.Commander of Awesome;1831896 wrote:Very late whistle
But it was neither. Until he touched the ball again, it wasn't a violation. He was out of bounds, but had "saved" the ball. He reestablushed in the court, but you can't be the first to touch the ball if you were the last to touch it before stepping out. So until he grabbed to shoot, the ball was in play and someone else could've grabbed it.

Moot point now, but would Dunleavy refusing to show up with Hawks have any hindrance on when Korver could play? If he never showed up, would the trade have been voided?

No he has I believe 72 hours and then the hawks have the option of just waiving his physical which they more than likely would have.Benny The Jet;1832188 wrote:Moot point now, but would Dunleavy refusing to show up with Hawks have any hindrance on when Korver could play? He reported, passed his physical and everything is good to go on both sides. Korver is playing tonight, not sure yet about Dunleavy.

Jazz are a tough team, and fun to watch. I think they could be a 2nd round team in the playoffs, coming a season later than I thought it would.

Cavs shooting sucks tonight so far.

This game has a "rest the big 3 the whole 4th quarter" feel to it

They always go thru these stretches. It's normally during a long road trip like this one.sleeper;1832539 wrote:Cavs dumpstered against Utah and now Portland.

They got into Portland at like 6 AM too. I'm sure that didn't help.

I just don't want to get dumpstered at GSW. Right now, I believe that is inevitable.like_that;1832562 wrote:They always go thru these stretches. It's normally during a long road trip like this one.

Who cares man. It's January. Remember this time last year they looked like shit for a bit and fired their head coach. That worked out in the end, right?sleeper;1832567 wrote:I just don't want to get dumpstered at GSW. Right now, I believe that is inevitable.

Tomorrow's game should be good. Cousins has been goofy as shit lately.

They had to use too much energy to beat the Suns and the loss to Utah I thought was just about definite....then right back at Portland. Not surprised.
Looking ahead I hope Love and Irving being all-stars doesn't lead to too many 5-18 fg games.

You and I disagree about almost everything, and it continues on this one. Cavs are at their best when they're moving the ball around quickly on offense. Melo has never been that type of player. He's best when he's iso. Maybe they get him and he adapts, but I'd assume the price would be pretty steep for a guy who I don't think would fit their model of play.Commander of Awesome;1832803 wrote:http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/244590/Carmelo-Anthony-Reportedly-Would-Only-Approve-Trade-To-Cavs-Clippers

Why would the Cavs even want him?

I wouldn't want Melo if we had to trade our washing machine for him.
