Crazy to watch some of the Periscope feeds near Wrigleyville.

Much better than the jinx trash saying we are going to lose every game. Same trash was their for the Cavs.

Confidence is a good thing. Enjoy poverty!

Unbelievable game.

Without question...the greatest game I've ever seen. Hyperbole alert...but maybe one of the greatest baseball games ever?

Hard to put it into context this second. It hurts now. It'll never go away but fuck it was fun until Shaw gave it up.

And we still didn't give up.

What a team. What a season. A couple pitches short.

God damn it. So fucking close.

If we had to lose a heart breaker I'm glad it was to the cubs though. As Cleveland fans we know how heart breaking that drought is. Thank god the cavs won otherwise I might have died tonight

So many miscues though by both teams. Easily the wildest game ever

It stings, but hats off to the Cubs. They were the best team all year. Cubs fans deserve it and I can't hate on them. All the ones I know have been pretty classy. I got a lot of "sorry" texts, when there is absolutely no reason to be sorry. I'm proud of this team and they made for a fun summer and fall. I feel for the old timers such as brf and hits. 2016 is still the best sports year in Cleveland and I think Cleveland still gets the title for city with the best sports year in 2016.

The people who are trying to correlate this to the warriors memes are fucking idiots. The only relation is blowing a 3-1 lead. One team with their fake fans talked shit for over 365 days the other team was an underdog entering the playoffs. No shocker that the only people talking shit have no connection to either team. This is why it will always be Cleveland against the world.

Agree with like_that, I don't think anyone has an issue with the Cubs winning. Had it been the Cubs vs. literally any other team we'd have been pulling for the Cubs.

As a Cubs fan, I was glad we were playing the Tribe. I have many family members and close friends who are lifelong diehard Indians fans. Losing to them would have taken some sting out of it. I would not have been able to handle it if we had lost to the Yankees or Red Sox. I might have jumped off a building we had lost to the Tigers.
However, not a issue I have to deal with, thankfully. Can't wait until this spring to go up and visit Harry and take him a green apple.

Holy shit that was the craziest thing I have ever experienced in my life. The entire game was such an emotional roller coaster, but that stadium when Rajai hit his home run is something I will never, ever forget. No regrets. I went to almost every home playoff game and I got to go to the World Series with my husband, my mom, my brother and my best friends. I love this Indians team and I love Cleveland. Go Tribe forever.

What sucks is Dolan is too cheap to keep all of our good guys when their contracts are up. Life of a Cleveland fan.
We're half of the damn cubs salary.

Reflecting on this is going to make it tough. Not the way they lost, but the fact we had to try and accomplish it so short-handed. I'll forever play the what if game in my head with Salazar, Carrasco, Brantley and to a lesser extent, Gomes.

I know what you're saying, but then we might not have seen the emergence of Ramirez or Perez...I do agree I would've loved to see how we would have done with a healthy Cookie & Salazar, though.

Not sure on contract situations, but assuming we keep the same team and we are healthy, there's no reason we won't be back in 2017; much like Cavs in 2016 maybe 2nd time is the charm.

I think what really makes it hard is that I really liked these guys....favorite Indians team ever. They overcame so much adversity and left it all out on the field....right to the very end. You have to give a lot of credit to Tito and the coaches ...and to the front office. A good portion of this team will be back for another run.

For being as cheap as he is, not too many fans can say they've been to 3 world series in 20 years.

I think the point is, yes while Cleveland has not won a lot of championships, they have been relevant to the sports world a lot more than Cleveland fans want to admit.

Admittedly, blowing a 3-1 lead is embarrassing but man it's been a good year to be a Cleveland sports fan.
