I went ahead and took a look at that site, note these are not just white hate groups, this includes all. Black Panthers, Nazi's, KKK, Nation of Islam, etc...list goes on and on

Alaska with Zero hate groups. What, people there don't even hate the Eskimos?

I'm down to start a hate group in Alaska if anyone else is.

yup that was it. i believe that have a magazine too. one of my instructors passed it around and they had others where it was broken down by hate groups.

Yeah, you can select the state at the top and get a list of the groups. The vast majority, if not all, in Ohio are white supremacist/KKK/Neo Nazi groups.

2 Racist Music
1 White Nationalist

Yeah, that's the one I have, too. I get it through work for one of my committees. I'm digging around trying to find it and have no idea where I put that damn map.

Otherwise, I found it interesting that there are no hate groups within two hours of me in Ohio. Ravenswood, WV does have a KKK, though I wonder how far they'd actually have to drive to find someone to hate on.

I understand just fine. A poor choice of a single word can be misinterpreted by others. I didn't expect it on this board because of all the personal insults and profanity all over it. Not my problem, I have no insecurity with using the word 'black'. Ever read a 'black newspaper' ? They capitalize Black but not white when referring to a person's race. Some call that racist, some call it cultural pride. Some are just attacking me because I am more Gator than Buckeye. I guess up until 2006 nobody had a problem with that. I told a black friend about this topic today and he saw nothing wrong with my title. 'Its just a description' he said. I used to work with a black guy who got offended because someone used the word 'negro'. He saw a tv news story about spray on tan in a can and said 'Huh, instant negro.' 6 black guys were in the break room with us, only one was offended. I asked him 'What about MLK's speech ?' He said 'negro' at least a dozen times. He replied its ok if a black man says it. I thought THAT was racist. I've had cultural diversity classes in college. I am aware words, especially written not spoken, can be misinterpreted. This board has more than a fair share of offensive posters. Today I was one of them. I am not sorry, I am disappointed how shallow society is. Y'all have a nice evening.
