Both teams coming off impressive sweeps. The Jays offense was the worst in the AL in September but they woke up for 3 games vs Texas. Donaldson has been little banged up but looked good in the ALDS going something like 7-13. The good news the Jays mashers are all right handed and we will only be throwing Miller as a lefty and he's just as brutal on righties as he is on lefties. Both teams boast strong bullpens. Early runs will be crucial.

2-3-2 format with the Tribe having homefield advantage.

Game 2- Saturday 10/15 TBD
Game 3- Monday 10/17
Game 4- Tuesday 10/18
Game 5- Wednesday 10/19
Game 6- Friday 10/21
Game 7- Saturday 10/22

Marco Estrada will be pitching game 1 for the Jays. He started 29 games for the Jays with a 3.48 ERA over 179 innings. The Jays were 15-14 in the games in he started this season. The Tribe haven't announced who will going game 1. If I were a gambling man...I'd wager Kluber has to get the ball but Tito isn't known for being conventional. Wouldn't be shocked if Bauer took the ball as he seems to be considered the better 3 days' rest option. Whatever Tito decides, I'm all in.

Any OCers taking in the ALCS? I had to sell my tickets to Game 1 but will be in the house for game 2 in section 109.

It was noted game 4 could be a Clevinger/Bullpen day but it didn't rule out if the bullpen was in bad shape that Kluber may go on 3 days.

Yikes on game 4. This would be an easy series win imo if carrasco and salazar starting. What is the word on salazar, how many innings can he give?

Word on Salazar is he won't make the roster for ALCS. Damn! I'd think they have to drop a catcher and add another reliever to the roster. Need as much bullpen as we can get.

Dont like it, and I don't like that Salazar can't make this roster. Reminds me of Cliff Lee in 2007, just stupid. Tons of scrubs to bench in favor of him, starting with Clevinger.

I think physically he must not be ready.

Not over Salazar. Him and his 5.26 ERA can sit on the fucking bench in the ALCS (assuming Salazar is 75%+).

Salazar isn't healthy. They aren't going to pitch him if he physically can't. Clevinger starting game 4 doesn't bother me at all. He had the talent to get it done

Clevinger will do fine. He'll have a very short leash. If he can give us 4...maybe 5 with 2 ER or less...that's all we need and all Tito will ask. Similar to Tomlin...I don't think he'll be asked to go through the lineup the 3rd time.
