He and his wife were walking out of the restaurant after dinner. He noticed some dude getting out of his truck, as he approached the truck the guy started apologizing and pointing to another 08 Silverado just 3 parking spaces away. He said he didn't realize he was in the wrong truck until he tried to use his key. My friend laughed and told him he had already seen the other Silverado and knew what had happened. Anyway it was pretty humorous, first time he ever saw a black guy turn red.

Why'd you have to say "black guy" in his truck? Why couldn't it just have been "a guy"? And don't give me the BS about "turning red"...becuz that doesn't happen. Another idiot post from an ignorant Gator racist.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not sure why black needed to be in the title.

Yeah, not sure how the guy being black has any relevance to the story.

Based on the title I thought this was going to be another Chris Henry thread.

becuz thats how he told me about it. I see nothing racist, he was just trying to be humorous. All the crap on this forum you read and you want to roast me for using the word 'black'. Sorry, this board is not politically correct and I saw nothing wrong with using the word 'black'. Using the word 'black' makes me a racist ? Wow. I hope all my black Gator football playing friends don't hear about this. :s

Maybe it is just me, and maybe I am wrong, but with the way you worded the thread title it seemed like you were trying to incite some sort of negative reaction when in all reality it was just a mixup. Like I said, maybe I am wrong.

I's not that you used the word "black." Calling someone black is fine. It's how you went out of your way in the title to point out that he was black. Just saying that your friend caught a guy in his truck last night would have been sufficient. Now, I'm not going to say that you are a racist or that you meant anything racially by saying he was black, I don't know you so I can't make those judgments. However, you have to understand that pointing out someones race when it is irrelevant to the story makes it appear racist. Perception is reality, and making mention of race in the manner you did will be perceived as racist.

I thought it was funny when he said it was the first time he saw a black guy turn red. Am I wrong for that ? Maybe its because we know each other and know we are not racist, and an ignorant Gator hater here wants to take a shot at me with any opportunity. I'm man enough to handle it, because I'm not a racist. None of you know me personally, so maybe the post gave the wrong impression.

"How prejudiced is America?" - I wonder if it was the "black" or "racist" that triggered that ad?

Saying that it was the first time he saw a black guy turn red isn't racist, it's funny. But by pointing out that he's black in the title of the thread appears racist. It would be like telling someone that I went out to eat lunch today and my Mexican server forgot to bring me my drink. In this instance, it's irrelevant. Saying that he's black in the title will evoke a certain emotional response and will make you appear racist whether you are or not.

Proud to be a Gator hater - and again I'm calling BS on the "turning red" part of the story. Once everybody jumped your shit you got all indignant about being a racist and tried to change the tone of your story. That shit might be funny down at Bubba's Gas n Go while all you FL rednecks chow down on boiled peanuts and swap stories about the Almighty Teblow, but us "edgee-kated" folks find it downright offensive Cletus.
