So true....baseball is a crazy, amazing game. Remember our concerns about Naquin's defense early in the year? ...and yet here he is starting what was arguably the best and most critical defensive play of the game. Remember our concerns about Perez when Gomes went down... the front office was ready to mortgage the farm for Lucroy....and yet the guy with the sub Mendoza line average, turns out to be an offensive hero in his first post season game.

Question.... as I haven't really looked at the roster....tell me Guyer is on it. Tell me they didn't leave him off. Two critical situations occurred where the Tribe could have broken that game open last night and failed....were normally spots where the lefty killing Guyer would have batted. If he is not on the roster, that might be the biggest mistake of the series.

Guyer is on the roster. I was really surprised Tito went with chisenhall with bases loaded instead of guyer, but oh well.

Anytime I see Pom pitch I get pissed about that Ubaldo trade.

Guyer is supposed to be starting today with a lefty starter. Was wondering about pinch hitting too.

If there is a save situation I wouldn't be surprised to see otero get the call with Allen and miller throwing so many pitches last night. I love that Tito went all out last night to get that first win. Especially with kluber going today.

A plus to using them and succeeding is they'd have the playoff experience under the belt so to speak.

Going to be a long and grinding series. Need 3-4 guys in the pen to have a good series.
