Do you think teams need extra incentive to win in the in playoffs? Like, they are going to try "extra hard" if we see them in the playoffs because of how this season went? I don't even know why they're being talked about, as far as Cleveland and playoffs go. They have work to do just to get into the playoffs, since they're currently on the outside looking in. For Cleveland right now, it just goes down to whether they'll face Boston or Texas in the divisional series. Detroit's only relevant as a potential ALCS opponent on the tiny chance everything aligns in their favor.

Baltimore has the Yankees and Toronto has Red Sox. Tigers very well may win out. The others, I doubt sweep their last opponents.
