I find it a bit disconcerting that Kluber's been getting knocked around lately. He may not be breaking, but he sure is bending. If we're going to do anything moving forward, we need our ace to be just that...an ace.

My guess is it was mostly precaution. Kluber is smart enough to know that he is too important to push it at all.
