I traded Ajayi and T. Benjamin for Michael Thomas and James white. Benjamin was just sitting on my bench and I get 2 guys I can start every week

Fantasy WK 9 QQ Story:

I was ahead by 7 points heading into Sunday night game. All of my players had played, he had TJ Ward going and that was it. TJ Ward had 6 tackles and Broncos threw INT with 1 min and some change left. Raiders take over, finish game and I win by .43 points as TJ Ward didn't have a tackle on the last drive. I took a screenshot as it's a really close win.

Wake up this morning to see I lost by 1.7 points. Stats correction, TJ Ward had 8 solo tackles. SMFH

My fantasy league QQ:

I have the most points in the league, but also most points scored against. Good enough for a 4-4 record smfh.

Damn. He also had an INT that got called back. Talk about a swing of emotions both ways in that game.

great argument for total points league, which I've done before. Little less interesting than match ups but more fair.

I'm trying to push for my leagues to go to a structure where the top 4 records make the playoffs then the top 2 in points from everyone else for situations exactly like LT is talking about. Been there before where you just get screwed by matchups each week but have a great team, so think teams that score the most points should be rewarded.

Bit of a conundrum this week. I have Ty Montgomery who is RB/WR eligible. Would you play him at RB over Carlos Hyde (injury concerns) and play Hopkins at WR (also have Corey Coleman) or roll with him at WR and leave Carlos Hyde in?

Depends on the type of league. Montgomery is much more valuable as a RB in a PPR league because he's going to get a ton of short passes. In a standard league, it's about the same. Not a fan of Hyde. Coming off injury. Arizona has been stout against the run. If they fall behind, Hyde comes off the field for Harris and Draughn. Much rather take a shot on Coleman against Baltimore, play Montgomery at RB and go with Hopkins.

Solid logic.

Well my season depends on Matt forte tonight. I need 12 points out of him in a ppr league. I'm pretty damn nervous lol

I have forte tonight too, plus Luck and Moncrief. Opponent has TY Hilton. I'm down 50 points. If I win, I'm guaranteed first place regular season. If I lose, I need the guy in second place to lose; he is down 10 with jets defense, opponent has Dwayne Allen.

Hoping I'm $150 richer tonight.

Any championship advice? I have two teams. First one is half ppr between starting Gore and Ingram (leaning Gore). Second is standard TE between Brate and Ertz (leaning Brate but all the rankings seem to have Ertz super high this week).

Also to prove I'm not retarded, my wr suck in the standard but I have cooks and rishard Matthews (just picked up on waivers) starting over Cobb and Devonte Parker. I'd assume everyone would be doing that.

I would be in the championship today if I had started Ty Montgomery over any of my WR/RBs. :(

That's a tough one. I like Tampa's match up better but ertz is the 2nd or main target in Philly

Icl, my bad, I actually read your post yesterday I just forgot to respond lol.

definitely go with Brate at TE. He's a must start, since Jameis loves him.

and I'd go gore over Ingram. Ingram is losing a ton of snaps to Hightower who looks better and is a better receiver.

I'd mayyyybe go Cobb over Matthews, but can't go wrong with Matthews and cooks. I don't see much a difference between Matthews and Cobb.

Thanks to both. Yea I looked at Ertz and Brate over and over but I think I'm going to go Brate. I think Giants D is playing well and I hate Thursday game players. This league has a 2 week playoff system (kinda dumb) so it isn't a do or die week. Gonna be pissed if teams sit starters next week though (I have Brady).

Yea, no kidding. To recap, I won the league where I was asking about Gore and Ingram (played Gore but Ingram blew up). This is the last week for the other Championship and I am up 18. Other guy is trying to find lightning in a bottle with Deangelo and some other one week guys.
My only risky play is adding Thielen from Minny at wr instead of Parker/Cobb/Mathews. Cobb could be hurt and tenn doesn't have a qb, neither does Miami really.
And I have to play Ertz this week since Brate got put on IR. Not a bad backup to have.
Hopefully the Arizona D vs. Rams performs well too.

Won my main league last week with 140 in the championship and my opponent had 135. Sucks for him dropping 135 and not winning lol.

My work league I lost in the semi's and would have won if I won that semifinal game. Pissed me off. My team was loaded, I scored 130+ in 4 straight weeks leading up to the semi's. Scored 100 and lost. And then would have scored 155 in the finals. One bad week in 6 weeks fucked me out of almost 2 grand. Smh

Damn that's a bad beat. Both my leagues were only $50 buy ins, so for now guaranteed $500 from the win and $100 from the other, but $1000 would be nice.

lol I was in the same boat. Part of me said with both my teams in the semi's and a $125 and a $250 buy in, that I'd be happy with just one win. Because the fantasy gods are cruel and winning both finals would be asking for too much.

Even after asking for exactly what happened, I was still pissed I didn't win that work league (and the higher buy in lol).

Oh well.

$100 buy in, $100 for third place and $25x2 for top weekly scorer.

Welp this year was good to me. Ended up winning this 2 week final 226-144. Brady, Ertz, Arizona D, and West (for Ware out) scored almost all of my points this week. Thank goodness because L. Murray, Kelley, Cooks, and Thielen did absolutely nothing. I'll take a grand this year though and my name etched on our trophy from the league with all my hometown friends.
