unfortunately this chump isn't giving our guys too many more opportunities...he's making our better hitters look pedestrian

After only 72 pitches and keeping the Indians off balance...interesting.

Welp, thanks to Miguel Gonzalez scoreless innings, Tigers keep pace. +4.5, 25 to go.

Other than hitting his long awaited 30th dinger the other night, Nap looks confused at the plate over the last 5-6 games. Hope it's just a mini slump, cause we need his bat big time.

I don't understand why our starters have such an aversion to pitching with a lead...unbelievable.

I understand the monumental feat it takes to get a batting average from .091 where he has spent most of the year to the gaudy .160 he is currently sporting.

I just hate running into outs banking on that guy to put a single pitch in play. Naquin was toast.

No way I am freaking Hit and Run'ning with Perez. I agree. Just pointing out the dude changed his approach 2 weeks ago (focusing on not pulling it at all), and is now .300 in that time. Wanted to give him props.

In fact, of his last 23 balls in play, 17 have been middle or right. At the very least, it's now better than the pitchers spot being up lol.

Yea the hit and run was dumb, as was chisenhall running into an out at 2nd after his rbi. Solid homer from Napoli to give us the 1 run lead. Need to hold it.

Carrasco seemed to settle in as the game progressed..good to see...now it's up to the bullpen to lock it down.
