Lol....no laterals to even attempt the miracle, just another 20 yards on Brees season/career

I don't understand that playcall at the end of the game. Bomb it down the field.

Pretty sure Payton was drunk. So many questionable decisions.friendfromlowry;1825216 wrote:I don't understand that playcall at the end of the game. Bomb it down the field.

Kuechly did not look good at all. Completely in a different world sitting on the cart.

That was pretty weird to see. He's had concussions before correct? Any chance he's one of the guys who's going to call it quits early due to them?wildcats20;1825226 wrote:Kuechly did not look good at all. Completely in a different world sitting on the cart.

Missed several games last year and, I believe, had a "it's part of the game" type of reaction.Benny The Jet;1825229 wrote:That was pretty weird to see. He's had concussions before correct? Any chance he's one of the guys who's going to call it quits early due to them?
But last night was hard to watch.

The Bengals problem isn't the QB, the WR's or the coaching. The offensive line and the secondary have been horrible. The linebackers, outside of Burfict, are pretty bad. Big Ced has been hammered on for his rookie struggles, but it's not like making him the starter didn't make sense. Bodine, Boling and Zeitler have also been a liability.
Unfortunately, the season is probably lost if they don't run off 6 of 7 wins, and likely those wins have to be against Pittsburgh and Baltimore twice to have a shot. The AFC is one of the worst 2 or 3 divisions in the NFL though, so as bad as Cincy has been, they still control their own destiny to win the division.
I just don't see it getting better, not because of the talent, but because the trends are all negative. Also, for as well as they have drafted, we've seen a major lack of production from the last few draft classes.

I'm convinced in my mind that Kuechly is on all sorts of uppers during games.wildcats20;1825226 wrote:Kuechly did not look good at all. Completely in a different world sitting on the cart.

The Sportscenter anchor said he had a look on his face like he promised someone that after the next concussion he'd call it quits and this was it. As wildcats said, they've been a big problem for him in the past.

On Deadspin, someone posted a link in the comments to a condition caused by head trauma where a person can cry or laugh essentially against their will due to the part of their brain which regulates emotion being scrambled.friendfromlowry;1825263 wrote:The Sportscenter anchor said he had a look on his face like he promised someone that after the next concussion he'd call it quits and this was it. Definitely looked that way. Hopefully he can recover and maybe play again.Heretic;1825276 wrote:On Deadspin, someone posted a link in the comments to a condition caused by head trauma where a person can cry or laugh essentially against their will due to the part of their brain which regulates emotion being scrambled.

When I was in undergrad I was playing flag football and caught a knee to the face. I busted my cheek bone and spent the night in the hospital; don't remember anything until the next morning. I was told that when it happened, I was unconscious for a few seconds, got up and jogged off the field, and stood on the sideline for a couple of minutes like nothing had happened. My friends said the next thing they knew I was walking around bawling and telling people I didn't know where I was or who anyone was. Didn't know my own name at the ER half an hour later.Heretic;1825276 wrote:On Deadspin, someone posted a link in the comments to a condition caused by head trauma where a person can cry or laugh essentially against their will due to the part of their brain which regulates emotion being scrambled.

Anyone notice who wasn't out on the field checking to see how the leader of the defense was? Instead he was too busy playing with the towel on his head chewing gum. That's the best LB in football, the lifeblood of your team and you're not out there at all?

Dalton looked decent on the drive sans Green, assuming the TD call stands.
