Still can't believe that horse shit in Happy Valley actually happened.
Only thing that worries me is how the committee views conference championships. Since every team that made it so far was a conference champ it worries me, but I think Ohio State has a better resume than anyone.

I feel like OSU's resume means they should be in and be #2. I'm just worried that others, including the people who matter, may not see it that way.

The debate should really be between Washington, Michigan, and Penn State, but I guess we'll see.

Few here and there, but a lot of what I'm seeing is still Ohio State at #2, let alone not in the top 4.

I wouldn't be too concerned. We have 1 less loss than PSU, and significantly better wins than PSU. That means a whole lot more than head to head.

You can add Clemson to that list too. Clemson shouldn't be a lock, they just struggled with Virginia fucking tech and has looked completely underwhelming all season. No one team has benefitted more from a weak schedule like Clemson.

ESPN still giving Michigan a prayer. Refreshing lol

Rece Davis saying Washington/Penn St are final team....Washington getting the 4

Washington wins over #12 Colorado, #18 Stanford, #21 Utah......lost to #8 USC and had 127th OOC schedule

Penn State and extra loss with @7-4 Pitt the difference. Beat #3 OSU, #10 Wisconsin, #22 Iowa, #24 Temple

*Guesstimates

Booger has OSU at 2 and untouchable. Most impressive road win of season (USC close)

Just remember that the committee has said OSU and PSU aren't close. I don't think this win brings them to equal or so close that the head to head or conference championship matters.

If OSU doesn't get in, there is literally no point in playing any tough out of conference games. They would be saying all that matters is conference play. And that is so incredibly not true.

Wouldn't Ohio State provide more revenue/ratings than PSU?

Schlabach and McMurphy projections from ESPN. CFP and NY6.

Both have Alabama vs Washington and OSU vs Clemson. Both also have Bama vs OSU in title game.

Sugar - both with Oklahoma vs Auburn
Rose - both with USC vs Penn State
Cotton - both with Wisconsin vs Western Michigan
Orange - Schlabach with FSU vs Michigan, McMurphy with Louisville vs Michigan

Jerry Palm from CBS
CFP - Bama vs Washington, OSU vs Clemson

Here's a slightly different way to consider comparative resumes. Each loss "cancels" your best win. tOSU's win over TTUN is cancelled by the loss to Penn State. PSU's two losses cancel the Buckeye and Wisky wins. Now give me the best three remaining wins. PSU: Iowa, Temple, Sparty. tOSU: Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Nebraska. Nice season, Lions. Win the Rose Bowl.

Actually, the New Year's 6 are basically all set up, unless OSU gets left out of the playoff.

I don't see anyway that Louisville is ranked above FSU. FSU is 12 and Louisville is 13 right now, why would it change?

However, what is in doubt is their order, especially if the VaTech/Clemson game is close. If this is the case, I could see Bama (providing they win, of course), OSU, Washington and Clemson. However, if Clemson loses? Bama, OSU, Washington and PSU/Wisky winner.
sticking with this, except the proviso for changing the order..Clemson's resume much better that the Huskies', so they'll remain in my original order

If OSU is left out, the committee will be making it clear that a conference champion overrides SOS. At which point every power 5 team should schedule all FCS teams to ensure no out of conference losses. OSU went to Oklahoma, Big 12 Champ, and killed them.

if OSU can't get in as a non conference champ with their resume no one ever will.

one thing people have to realize too is that the committee is looking at the resumes of PSU vs Washington, NOT PSU vs OSU...the Buckeyes are in...period.

Let week they were, but now they added Wisconsin. Who's to say that doesn't now make them comparable?
