True, I was speculating...which, of course, is "subjective." Half the discussion on these forums are subjective in some capacity. We'll see.

I'd only put OSU and Bama above them.
Unless OSU dismantles them. I think the only way a team that doesnt make/win their conference championship makes it is if other teams really flop. Not that it would be "right" but I just think if, as we speculate, Clemson, OSU, Bama and Wash win out I dont think they allow a team, even with just one loss, like michigan in that didnt even get to their conf champ game. Just dont think it happens.

I agree. I don't think they do and I don't think they should

I dont believe that it could never happen, but just that there needs to be a lot of 1-2 loss teams before they would allow it. If Mich loses in a close game, and finish with that one loss and Wash, Clemson and such lose as well.......it could happen, but a lot of shit needs to happen first. OSU/MI shouldnt be worried though. I believe they pretty much control their destiny

Not really surprised that UW is at 4, thought it might be OSU.

A&M dropping only 4 spots is a complete and total mockery of the system.

That @Auburn win is looking better and better....until Bama drills them. Based on those behind them, I don't mind them being 8th.

They just got beat by a team that had 3(!!!) wins.

A&M at 8 is the biggest joke I've ever heard. Miss state almost just lost to a FCS team. A&M loses to them and they're now 8? Jesus that's horrible.

And OSU, according to the committee's logic, should be 4.

Putting A&M at 4 in front of Washington and then not OSU is just a clear SEC bias.

I'm aware but hard to put Auburn above them as Auburns wins aren't any better and got beat at home by them. Oklahoma? Colorado? OK State?

A&M is still at 8 because they beat Auburn.

The committee supposedly looks at what the team is like "now" though, so I would think it wouldn't even matter that they beat Auburn early in the season.

It does seem very inconsistent to put Washington at 4 when they weren't good enough to be there last week. I guess it'll all sort itself out, but I kinda wonder what will happen if complete chaos ensues and it really comes down to splitting hairs.

Teams 8-13 are all pretty tight. I have trouble saying which team has the better resume. Need more info.

Personally I'd have Auburn at #8 as I feel they are better than the others.

My point wasn't about being right. I wasn't predicting what the committee was going to do. My point was the committee, since they put Washington behind A&M, should put OSU ahead of Washington, too. I still think that.

Fair enough. I realize no one really wants to be at the 4 spot to face alabama.
I think if things stay the status quo it will be Bama, Clemson, undefeated WASH or undefeated Mich) as the top 3. Wash stays undefeated and OSU wins out I think OSU gets the 4.

Crappy weekend of games.

Hopefully USC can keep it tight with Washington but I doubt it. Hoping Ole Miss beats A&M.

Oklahoma vs Baylor

Nothing looks to be a must watch.

Looking forward to the MAC championship when Ohio ends* WMU's undefeated season.

*Or loses 44-3.

Ole Miss without Chad Kelly probably has zero chance.
