I was wanting so bad to say Miller Time in the T7!

What a great job all around. I loved hearing Hammy extol on the addition of Miller from things he's heard around the league.

Nothing quite like Opening Day. The buzz in the air. The optimism. Could it be our year? Baseball is back. It's Opening Day in Cleveland. Red Sox and Tribe. Pomeranz and Tomlin.

Pomeranz comes in giving up 3 earned runs total in his last two starts. Tomlin has given up 14.

That's worrisome. Kipnis getting the day off and our lefty outfield is in.

In his last two shellings, Tomlin has given runs in the first inning and innings 1-3 have been the bug-a-boo.

He got through the 1st damage-less so hopefully that is a good omen.

He has gotten through 3 which is good, but Pomeranz is lighting them up. Perfect through 3 with only 28 pitches.

Just watching from my phone. Scoreless through 3 innings.

Almonte threw out Shaw at the plate to end the 3rd. Shaw struck out but Gimenez couldn't corral the pitch allowing Shaw to get to 1st.

Pomeranz may no hit the Tribe today. He's thrown 28 pitches to dispatch the Tribe's first 9 hitters.

Tomlin scatters 3 hits in the 4th using a double play to work around them.

He is not fooling them the 2nd time around.

They are 4 for 6 off him the 2nd time around and don't have a run.

Pedroia- Single...out made at home. End inning.
Bogaerts- Single
Papi-Double play
Betts- Single
Bradley-Single
Hill- Line out the pitcher.


As I type...Rajai leads off the 4th with a home run and we have the lead.
