Same. Second game I saw this year with Max. 1st one was when he was perfect I think through 5 2/3rds v. the Cubs.

I'll be there today, in the heat, trying not to die.
Go Tribe.

And we have a fielding "gem" by Almonte in the first inning that leads to a run.

I'll delete being pissed at Almonte's error since he redeemed himself with an RBI in the top of the 2nd. I'll go on record and say I still don't like him playing.

Who had Tomlin giving up his home run in the 2nd inning? 3 run job, 4-1 Nationals.

It's amazing to me how pitchers can't see how awful of a matchup their stuff is for certain hitters. Werth just destroys guys like Tomlin, yet he throws only fastballs to him. Double and HR today.

I realize that, I said it was a 3 run homer in the 2nd. Did I mis-say something? JRam just doubled in Napoli after a Napoli double. Tie ball game 4-4.

Not sure why Francona continues to play him since he's not eligible to play in the post season...he rarely brings anything to the table, especially defensively

He was asking a rhetorical question to the nature of "who had the obligatory Tomlin HR in the 2nd?". He wasn't talking about the 1st inning at all.

He just doesn't have great stuff. He located well for a solid year, but is missing more pitches recently, and getting shelled. Hopefully he regains form for the stretch run.

July 2nd.......Tribe announces Almonte call-up effective July 3rd..........winning streak ends.

The more and more I watch this pitching staff lately, the more I realize how important Gomes was/ is. He makes all our pictures better.
