Also, there is this thing called google. It's not that hard to google top steakhouses in a steakhouse city. Google would tell you all you need to know about Ruth Chris and Pizanos. Might as well go to a hard rock cafe if you travel in Europe.

Well, at least he stayed at Trump Tower which is damn nice, and the view from the outdoor bar on 18th floor is simply amazing.

So back to the rando travel....

I mentioned I was going to St. Maarten in March, officially not happening now. The festival was cancelled and the entire island is still fucked. We got out villa deposit back, so all is good. Now we're thinking Miami. It will be much cheaper, but aside from the clubs, I'm not a huge fan of that city. We have a solid crew, so it should still be a good time.

Other than that, I don't have anything coming up. I really want to go to Romania in August, but it's a ways away...also for a music festival. One way flights are super cheap right now, around $300, but I can't book because the festival dates have not yet been confirmed. I'm trying to find a route that goes through a city I've never been before and do a day or two layover. My friend went to the same festival two years and did Istanbul, but I'm not sure if Turkey is such a good spot right now. Calling like_that...thoughts? Lisbon is the leading candidate currently

On the way back I'm doing Barcelona and Mallorca.

Too bad about St. Maarten. Barcelona should be great.

Chicago was alright, just not my type of town.

They do have a Carsons Ribs and steakhouse. As I said, that was the hit of the trip foodwise........UNREAL. I am a steak guy but if all pork chops tasted like that I would be a chop guy. It was phenomenal. Lady said they have on in Chicago and are building another one or will soon. I see one is in Deefield north of Chicago. Telling ya, that chop was unreal!


Likely wont stay at a place better than Trump Towers. A few of the places were closed due to 'security concerns' they were saying. Had to laugh at the prices in the mini bar and other drinks they offered in the room! SPent less than 24 hours there as we wanted to get to Iowa City for the Buckeyes game. Although they got their asses handed to them it was a fun game to watch. The stadium was rocking and that fake FG....legit!


Guns and Roses was in the region and I decided to do the Milwaukee one and didn't disappoint whatsoever. Fantastic show.

I've never been to Ruth Chris, but I'm also not a "steak guy." I love steak, but I'm hardly a connoisseur. I just like undercooked red meat in general.
